Luminox Men's ICE-SAR Arctic Swiss Quartz Watch

Great looking watch and is the right size watch. Several compliments.

The watch is awesome in size for my meaty paws, and I love the glow at night! The dial is awesome and everything feels to be good quality. Crown is comfortable to adjust, and I haven’t noticed any time loss since I got it. The only down fall, is the band this comes with. God awful and ridiculously uncomfortable to wear over long periods of time.. it’s stiff and the sizing was either too loose or too tight on me with no sweet spot. When it’s time to take off the watch, it was a chore because of how stiff the band is. I started a return on the watch but decided to try the luminox carbon band and it’s a day and night difference. If you get this watch, I highly recommend you change the band immediately.

I have several Luminox watches, all of which are stainless steel (raw and DLC). This was my first fully Carbonox. I had my doubts as to how much I would like it and quickly concluded that it is much better than anticipated. Light, comfortable and extremely easy to read given the contrast between the white hour and minute hands against the textured black watch face. The red second hand (which falls precisely on the ticks) is a nice touch adding to the overall aesthetics. I am very pleased with this purchase and am sure to get a lot of use out of this watch for many years to come.

It’s as tough as it looks.

The watch has a good size, it is lightweight but doesn't feel cheap. The details are well made and the texture on the face is a good addition.I find the illumination bright enough to be readable.I'm deducting a star for misinformation. As you can see in the picture, you get a regular version, not a limited edition as shown in the product pictures.The flaw is the bezel, it is fixed which seems a really poor design choice for this price point. The info is in the product description so I'm not deducting any star for this.Update March 2024I'm deducting another star for the strap. I seems well made and durable but it is though and hard so with some time of wearing the watch it is uncomfortable and the wrist has deep marks. I ended up replacing the strap with one of FKM rubber (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B096DBT3KN) and that solved the problem.

The strap is rubber, but it has a layer of nylon material sewn on top of that. It's bulky and stiff and doesn't conform to your wrist or feel comfortable at all. I had to replace it with a regular rubber Luminox band, which added another 50 dollars to the price of the watch.Without the strap issue the watch is excellent.
