Better than expected quality, but not recycled nylon (as had been advertised)
I purchased a 2nd - the quality is good, especially the spring.Contrary to claims in a few negative reviews; the spring is strong, made with a sturdy metal coil - see photo of underside of the cap. (Not a weak plastic type found on my original Sony lenses that eventually snaps.)Contrary to advertised, it's doesn't appear to be made of recycled nylon, but of ABS (the stiff, slightly brittle plastic that's used on all my OME lens caps.) This doesn't have a negative bearing on the quality of the product, but a false claim to be made of recycled nylon makes for a moral deduction of one star in my estimation (maybe more in yours!)As other reviewers have mentioned, the centre button grips are smooth and aren't easily gripped (I think the mould form limitations for injection-moulded plastic parts like this meant no overhang was possible on it.)I have got out my Dremel and with a small sanding head attached ground little notches into the grip - see attached photo of topside of the cap. This has improved the grip but it's still not perfect. I may use some Sugru to add a proper lip in the future if this is still feeling a nuisance in the heat of use.

compact, sturdy, fits 50mm prime cannon lens
Currys sold me a lens without the cap or back cover bought this, didn't deal with my complaint. I had to buy this works fine, I was worried it wouldn't fit.

A strong well made lens cap, that, so far, has performed excellently
I have had multiple third party lens caps for my Fuji lenses. Most snap, lose their spring, or ping off at the slightest touch. These ones, after a week of using them, have stayed firmly on the lenses, not pinged off, and seem to be better made than others I have used. I haven't given them five stars as I am not sure how they will perform over the next few months, but I am hopeful they will not break.

Cheap but good replacement cap.
I used this lens cap for a Fujifilm X100f. It allows me to leave the lens hood on the camera, which the supplied Fujifilm metal cap does not. It is reasonably priced and of fairly good quality. The centre pinch grips make it easy to remove with a lens hood fitted. It doesn't come with a tether, but it does have holes in if you want to fit your own. I prefer to remove the cap and pocket it, rather than have it flapping in a breeze. Recommended purchase.

Better than original
As described, works well! Even better quality than my original sigma cap! Which used to fall off repeatedly!Much better.

This is the correct size but slightly off, making removing the lens hood problematic
If I remove the lens hood it will pull off this lens cap. This didn't happen with my original Sony lens cap. So you sometimes end up fumbling between the hood and cap.I really don't like this and have ordered a more expensive Sony lens cap.

Springs not as strong as claimed
The springs are no stronger than the springs on my canon lens caps. The grips in the middle are too smooth and have slipped out of my fingers almost every time I take the cap off. If I remove my lens hood it pulls the the Lens Cap off with it. That does not happen with other lens caps that I have had.

Yep - it fits and works
It fits and works fine - lost the lens cap recently so needed a quick replacement, not bothered about branding so fine with ' a another'. Was a bit concerned it may not be the right size but it is - so happy to give a good review. It arrived quickly too.
