a great watch at a budget price. Rugged, waterproof and easy to slip on and off with the velcro strap. Its a basic watch, nothing fancy, its just here to get the job done. I've worn it a few days in a row without taking off, walked through rainstorms and thick brush and it still works. Even swam across a few lakes with no signs of failure, although it didn't go deeper than ten feet at most. Buttons have guards on the sides to keep you from accidentally hitting them. Only problem I've had with it is at one part of the strap the back part is starting to peel off but its cosmetic at worst and I have no doubt that it'll stay on until I'm the one that takes it off at the end of the day. Plus it adds character and can be worn as a badge of honor so you can turn up your nose at the guys babying their fancy 300 dollar watches buy it, it'll outlast you

Upon receiving my watch in a timely manner, I took the watch out of the box, obtained the instructions which are hidden inside the watch stand it was sitting on/attached to, and set it up with no problems. The velcro strap fit nice. I have a large wrist and sometimes watches that I purchase barely fit. This watch would fit a 8.75 to a 9.00 inch wrist fairly easy. This watch has a green luminescent digital face and at some angles it is difficult to read in really dark light, but I had no trouble reading it under dim bedroom light. Of course you can't read any watch in the dark without pressing the night light button on the watch, duh!!! I have not been a big fan of digital watches until the mid to late 90's. Now I would not have anything else. This is a great everyday watch or work watch. It's tough, takes a pretty good lick and keeps on going too. The watch is somewhat quirky and harder to set than other digital watches, but it's not really worth complaining about. Anyone can set it, even me. It's also light weight and feels really good on after minor adjustments to the velcro strap. I liked this one so good I purchased another one to put up when I wear this one out, but I can already tell that this watch will last many years unless you take it off, set it on a tree stump, and smash it with a sledge hammer, and you can say that about any watch. I just want to say that I own 20 to 30 Casio digital watches and 4 Armitron digital watches (I'm a collector), and the Casio watches are absolutely no better than this watch. I give this watch 5-Stars easy. I purchased mine right here on good old Amazon.com.

I bought this watch because I wanted a basic beater watch. However, it quickly became my favorite time piece! It’s lightweight, easy to read, incredibly comfortable on the wrist, and it has a really cool backlight that is very similar to the timex indiglo. It does what I need a Watch to do, no more, no less. It tells me the time ( with a cool retro screen), tells me the day and date (with a momentary button down on the lower right hand side), it has one alarm ( I only get up once), end it has a basic stopwatch. The stopwatch has no lap/ split function like every other digital watch in my collection but I’ve never used that function so who needs it! All of the buttons have protectors that prevent you from inadvertently activating them. I would have given this watch a five star rating, however, the Velcro strap that it came with was so low quality but the first time I broke into a sweat it all but disintegrated. But for the money, you just can’t beat this Armitron jewel!

Every other year for Christmas I buy my husband a cheap watch. (well along with other stuff and he likes cheap watches, he does't have to worry about breaking them, if they break no big deal so don't judge me on this) He still likes to wear a watch and he has several requirements, it must be digital,(he likes to know the time to the minute even though he sets it 7 minutes fast) it must light up (because you never know when you might want to know the time in the middle of the night), it must be water resistant (I don't think that part of his arm has ever been clean since they invented water resistant watches, never takes it off ot shower) and it must have a velcro band ( buckle bands make you choose a hole and expandable bands trap hairs and that hurts). This one has all that. I was a little bit skeptical at first after reading the reviews about how much trouble people had setting the watch but I didn't tell my husband it was supposed to be hard (expecting an entertaining Christmas day with too much cussing and eventually the watch being thrown into the ocean) but he had no trouble setting it up (and this is a man that can't use a smart phone). He is brutal on watches and this one has held up beautifully, the watch is working fine but the velcro is starting to wear out so I will probably get him another one this year for Christmas, yes, I could just buy him a new watch band but I think he would have a harder time trying to change that out than setting a new watch. Oh wait, maybe he will just get a new watch band, gotta get the video camera ready in case something goes in the ocean :)

For the money this is a good watch. My only complaint is that the the picture of the product is not accurate. When buying a watch the look of it is very important and being unpleasantly surprised that the watch I received doesn't match the picture of the product well that sucks. Specifically the font style for the words ARMITRON and INSTALLITE are different and I specifically liked the retro look of the watch shown in the picture. Kind of feel taken for a fool. Hope the seller take care of this as I find it lazy and misleading not to have an accurate picture of the product. Thankfully the watch is not too expensive but even $20 bucks are a lot of money for most people to get something that doesn't look exactly like what they belief they were buying.

I love this watch. It has that retro look and feel the vintage ones have. The Velcro strap is comfortable and its lume is bright and a nice colour. I actually bought this as an everyday beater for work and DIY, but also so I can wear it under long sleeve shirts. It’s thin but durable.

Was looking at Casio digital watch with alarm, found this Amitron at half the price. I prefer the look of the watch and the included velcro strap over the resin strap in Casio. I was concerned with quality of the watch as I never have an Amitron before. It turns out the watch is as good if not better than Casio equivalent. This model is larger than Casio, better looking in my opinion and just as water resistant. Showering and submerging in bath is not a problem. Th e nylon strap is several order better than rubber strap that comes with Casio. Much more comfortable and should be more durable. My previous Casio always have the strap break first. The light is very bright too.

Inicialmente puedo decir que estoy satisfecho, sin embargo el encargado de estes articulo y/o marca debería esforzarse un poco para completar las fichas técnicas. No tiene cuenta regresiva. La esfera no es la misma que el de la imagen por un detalle, la que se muestra en la imagen es verde y (parece) dependiendo el ángulo, verse de mejor manera los dígitos, sin embargo no es así, esa fue la principal razón de mi compra, ignoro el nombre de la tecnología (Algunos Timex la tienen) Me quedare con el. Bueno, bonito, barato y ademas muy comodo. Si lo recomiendo.

El reloj me gusto mucho, es tal cual la imagen, los materiales se ven de buena calidad tiene las aplicaciones esenciales como alarma, fecha y luz ademas de que es contra el agua, le puse 4 estrellas porque la correa me quedo un poco chica
