ARTEZAMetallic Gouache Paint, Set of 12, 12ml/0.4 US fl oz Gouache Paint Tubes, Glitter Paint for Canvas and Paper

Decided to try this set of 12. Highly worthwhile! The tubes open and close easily and the paints are highly opaque, as expected, with good metallic look. Great quality gouache. After this positive experience, I plan to get the larger set as well. The larger set has a range of beautiful colors that will make it well worth purchasing. The price is good. The only down side, compared with the Coliro or Finetec brand, is that you pretty much need to put the Arteza paint on a palette or plate, which then may need to be cleaned after. The Coliro/Finetec provides their metallic paints in palette (cake) forms instead of tube forms and don't need to be cleaned up. However, the Arteza, as mentioned earlier, is beautiful, heavily opaque metallic paint with a lovely range of colors.,

I love Arteza gouache paints and these metallic ones are no exception. They have a beautiful sheen and a great opacity. They are a fantastic value for the price. Will definitely buy again.

Arteza has great basic metalic colors and their gouache I noticed is better than artist loft gouache. Like it stays moist longer. This pack is good for their blue green gold silver, and the others are just pastel colors

I do like this product. It's affordable especially with the lightning deal. Very pretty but it is sheer and some colors have good pigment while others don't. I know I can use this to make some interesting effects on my art. Some of these colors I can use to "apply" make-up on my characters because it does have a certain look to them with the mica in it and with how sheer it is. As for the metal parts of the painting, it will give a metallic effect but not quite sure. It is my first metallic gouache pain set. I haven't tried other brands yet to make a better review for the metal part of the painting.Anyway, not bad. I will definitely use it for good practice.

The colors, texture, and shimmer of this set are so beautiful. I use these more than I thought I would. Metallic watercolors are my usual choice, but these are outstanding and can be "reworked" with water added to thin or add as a shading background. I've used with stencils also.

The colors were a vibrant addition to my water color painting! They were very opaque and made the image pop!

Absolutely love the Silver, Gold and Bronze colors

These are great for beginners because they add a little flair to regular gouache painting. Personally, I like to use separate water for the metallic, as I do for the acrylic glitter and metallic paint colors just to prevent accidental blending. Opening the containers has been a learning experience. You have to be careful not to squeeze them while puncturing the foil because the paint comes out too fast if you do. But, if you tweek the bottom and the paint hasn't already flopped over, it gets sucked back in. A friend taught me that trick. I'd buy these again...or the brand because I like what the paints do on different colored artist papers, as well as how they dry and overlap in various shades and opaque-ness.

Easy to use, highly pigmented, a little goes a long way. Great product!

I opened a couple of the paints to see the color quality, they appear smooth and have a nice mica glint.I like that they have the codes for lightfastness & opacity.Order came a week earlier than expected.
