NokiaCC-3041 Wireless Charging Shell Case for Lumia 820 - Black

This was exactly what I needed when my MicroUSB charging port died. Repair estimates for my four-year old Windows Nokia Lumia 820 phone did not warrant the repair. The only solution remaining was to buy the charging shell. So glad I did. I do have another identical phone that I bought for LCD digitizer parts a year ago, so my worse case scenario will be to get the replacement done on the port. Then I'll have BOTH methods of charging: The MicroUSB and the charging case. NICE to have choices.My only "con" is that the case is VERY DIFFICULT to remove. Then again, all my Windows Phones have had tight cases until they've been pryed apart a few times. Eventually they loosen up. I hope this one does too.Overall, two thumbs up for this case and the Seller for fast ship and affordable price.

I have not had good luck with the plug in charging of my phone. Hove had to replace several phones or chargers because of the constant plugging and unplugging. This case with the charging mat is AWSOME! I just set the phone on the mat next to my bed each night and it charges. No plugs. Just set it down and wake up ready to go. Definitely worth it.

Works fine. Interesting option for charging. I bought it because my daughter's phone charging connector broke. This worked just fine, much better than having to buy a new phone or pay a deductible for the insurance.

Had to go to the AT&T store to find out how to remove the old cover but this did the trick. Now my Nokia Lumina 820 can use the wireless charging cradle. What an convenience when you have multiple phones in the house to charge. Solid case shell.

This product provides great convenience when charging my phone because I just place it on the charger and it goes. I charge my phone at night so it sleeps while I sleep and when I leave my house I just pick it up and go.

Works as advertised....

One of the advantages of the Lumia 820 is that it is possible to make it look like a different phone just by changing its cover. This is NOT the same as putting a cover *over* your phone - this is what Nokia invented back in the 90's: you just take the original cover and substitute it for another one. The advantage? It does not add bulk the phone.Although you probably heard otherwise, it is actually pretty easy to take a cover off the Lumia 820 (you just need to know how, and this is not the place to tell you that...). And once you put another on, there is no way someone can tell that it was not the original one.My phone came with a white glossy cover. Today, I got the black matte charging cover from Amazon. I must confess that I did not try to use the charging function (but I'm assuming it will work just fine, since the electronics in it are of the passive kind); what I did noticed is that the phone looks absolutely stunning with it!With the white cover, the (black) buttons on the side of the phone would make for a note-so-pleasant contrast. But now all the phone is black. Also, the fact that it is matte instead of glossy, really takes it to a new level - and it will not get all the fingerprints of a black glossy finish.So, I'm really pleased with the transformation. Well done, Nokia!

It's from Nokia so the quality is excellent.Charging by cable so previous!Recommended as a charging method wherever your phone allows.

Die Ladefunktion ist natürlich der Hauptgrund für den Kauf des Covers, diese funktioniert auch wirklich gut, jedoch etwas langsamer als beim Laden mit dem Kabel. Das Cover ist etwas schwerer (ca. 15g) und dicker (ca. 1-2mm) als das Standartcover, das ganze Handy wirkt damit also etwas wuchtiger, liegt aber immernoch genauso gut in der Hand wie vorher.Was auffällig ist, ist das sich das Cover etwas aufheizt beim Laden es geht also etliches an Energie verloren.Jetzt aber das was ein unglaublich angenehmer Nebeneffekt des dickeren Covers ist: Es schützt die Kamera! Bei dem Standartcover ragt die Kamera minimal aus der hülle, was sie natürlich zu einer wahnsinnig Kratzeranfälligen stelle macht und auf Dauer nicht gut ist. Die Kamera ist in einer abgerundeten Einbuchtung im Cover eingefasst. Das allein ist eigentlich schon fast ein Kaufgrund dafür, auch wenn man die kabellose Ladefunktion erst einmal nicht braucht.Zum Schluss noch, was ein klein bisschen negativ auffällt, ist das das Cover nur einen Auflagepunkt in der Mitte des Covers hat, es dreht sich somit wenn man es bedient während es auf einem Tisch liegt und diese stelle nutzt sich mit der Zeit auch ein wenig ab.

Positives:+ Hülle sitzt perfekt (Was zu erwarten war nachdem diese von Nokia kommt)+ Sie trägt kaum auf.Damit meine ich sowohl die Größe als auch das Gewicht. Beides hält sich im Rahmen und ist absolut in Ordnung.+ Die Kamera (oder besser die ganze Glasfront der Hauptkamera) wird durch die Hülle geschützt.Nachdem diese Hülle etwas dicker ist als die Standardhülle, ist die Kamera mit samt Rückfront abgesenkt, wodurch es schon fast zu einer Kunst wird diese zu verkratzen oder gar zu beschädigen. Dickes Plus und mein persönlicher Kaufgrund.Negatives:- Lumia 820 hat nur noch einen Aufliegepunkt.Es gibt alles in allem nur einen Punkt, welchen ich kritisieren muss. Und das ist das "Drehvermögen" des Smartphones mit der neuen Hülle. Ich gehe davon aus das Nokia, durch die Ladespule und die daraus folgende dickere Hülle, sich dazu entschieden hat von der ebenen Form der Standardhülle abzusehen. Um die gefühlte Größe des Geräts nicht unnötig zu erhöhen. Dies war auch eine absolut richtige Entscheidung! Allerdings wurde nicht darauf geachtet auf der Rückseite eine ausreichend große Fläche eben zu halten. Das Ergebnis ist nun, dass sich das Lumia 820 wärend es auf einem Tisch liegt, munter ein paar mal dreht wenn man es ein kleinwenig anstupst.Fazit:Wie schon erwähnt war mein Kaufgrund der Schutz der Kamera. Und trotz der (kleinen) Schäche der Hülle kann ich sie uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Io però ero convinto di comprare una cover per proteggere il mio Lumia 820 in realtà è la parte posteriore dello smartphone con la differenza che questa è compatibile con la ricarica WI-FI. Non ho richiesto il reso visto la piccola spesa e magari un domani dovessi comprare un carica batterie WI-FI. La piccola critica che faccio è che non si capisce che non è una cover leggendo attentamente dopo che ho ricevuto l'articolo si può intuire ma non è chiaro.
