Real good value for money
Real good value for money.- Great quality- Easy set up- Great price.- 2 way audio- motion detection- video storage (on SD card) and remotely accessible - full pan/tilt- automatic night vision- You don't need to be technical to have the ability to use this remotely i.e you don't need to mess around with port forwarding, DDNS etc. There is a phone app that you download, you scan in your QR code of the camera and set up a password. This camera remotely connects to their servers (3rd party) and then you connect to them. This basically means as long as you have a connection to the internet on your phone, you can access your camera, pan/tilt, record etc. There is a motion detection ability on this camera, this works great. You just get a microSD card and it will start recording for a predefined amount of time (including sound) if there is any movement (this is also tunable)I have this in my loft pointed out at a rat trap at this point in time. It works great in the dark and we will be later using this as a baby monitor.

Good entry level IP cam, needs more refinement
I've bought perhaps 20 of these over the past year - 10 at home, 3 in the office, and another 10 so so for a couple of friends. Setup is pretty straight forward, but it is quite irritating to have to do the firmware updates - there are 3 of them that have to be done immediately to get the units up to date. These should be installed and up to date before shipping. Secondly 3 or 4 of the 20 I've purchased have had faults for which I had to return the units - that's about 20% fault rate - not good. Lastly one of the ones at home has started rebooting every 6 minutes or so, accompanied by a significantly irritating clicking noise. It's driving me a bit bananas now, and no solution in sight. In terms of functionality, the images are clear enough for non-professional use, and the iphone software could use a lot more work to make it user friendly. It does take a very long time to connect to the cameras sometimes. For other software on your phone or computer, the RTSP feed appears to work well when it manages to establish a connection. All in all it's a good attempt, but both software and hardware are buggy and need more work. I'm not confident that these will last the long term (in comparison I used Foscams and clone foscams for 6 years without any issues whatsoever).

Pretty good
The camera is very easy to set up, achieves good image quality. One of the problems with it is that some of the technical design solutions are questionable. For instance, if I turn the motion sensing alarm, it seems to get triggered when switching between infrared and regular view. Moreover if the alarm is on and you move the camera, it will also get triggered – I would expect it to ignore the motion sensing while the camera is moving. The automatic "night vision" mode is not very reliable, either it is always off or always on, I've had to play with several different sensitivity values until I found one that "sort of" works.I'm also experiencing occasional bandwidth issues where despite having the camera connected directly to the router and using WiFi on my phone I will get terrible performance, where instead of seeing 15FPS as usual I see one frame *every minute*. I am not sure if this is due to the fact that the feed gets routed through their servers or some other issue, but if the problem persists I will lower the rating to 3 stars.Other than that it is good value for money.

exeptional product.
exellent product!. i have numerous cameras including a professional camera system with external pan tilt zoom functions which i beleived to be great but cost around £700, so i bought this product with tongue in cheek!, mainly regarding the cost for what it claimed to do, but WOW!!!!!!!. the build, great. the quality, great. ease of set up, quite inspiring. picture quality, exellent. and the response when used via phone or tablet is mind boggling as when i remotely move the camera using the screen its almost instant, i could not beleive it!. although broadband with at home may play a factor in this and its even quicker if you have ghe camera res at normal instead of full hd, but even at normal the picture is fantastic. oh and we use it to watch over the babies at night and the night vision (even at pitch black) is astonishing!!!!, this product is a steal at this price it is for me the best product of its kind on the market bar none. keep making the products to this standard and your in with a brand winner !!!!!!.

A baby monitor and nothing more. No good as a network IP cam.
A baby monitor and nothing more... lots of people gave it great reviews and I guess I shouldn't grumble too much and expect more from the camera but I was hoping the camera would be at least as good quality as a mobile phone camera (when facing out the window)! I wanted to use this on my window ledge to mainly point out side but also be able to remotely control it to turn and face inside. What I didn't like about the cam:1. Poor wifi signal! I tested this against a hard wired option which seemed a lot better. If using this on your home network as a ip cam the wifi cannot transmit the frames very efficiently. Lots of times I was looking at my desktop screen and seeing a frozen frame.... then after a few seconds a few frames seemed to move. Compare this to a mobile phone with ip web cam app installed and its awful.2. Frames drop causing my 3rd party software on my computer to trigger motion detection. I found that a lot of frames were completely blank (bright green colour). I don't get this from my old mobile galaxy s2 when used as an ip cam.3. Dramatical exposure changes when viewing out the window causing motion detection to constantly trigger. The auto exposure is poor... it darkens and lightens a lot randomly.Nice cam if you want to only shoot indoors. I guess this is great for someone who wants to occasionally view the cam via their mobile to see if their baby is ok but nothing more. Trying to run this constantly streaming to a computer isn't very good. I'll go back to just using my old galaxy s2 with ip web cam app installed to monitor some outside activity.
