These tins are amazing! My egg tarts slide right out, they're easy to clean, and I store them stacked in a cabinet so they barely take up any space at all. I like the 3" size, it's not too big and not too small. I bought two sets of 12 the first time and I just ordered another dozen -- they're THAT good.

I bought these to make egg tarts and it was a wonderful size! Despite not oiling the molds, after taking them out of the oven I could already see how the dough had released from the sides, making it a super easy and clean removal (could also be bc of how buttery the dough already is). I honestly had no other use in mind besides making egg tarts, but later found these are also perfect for steaming, to make desserts like bánh bò (also a super easy removal, but this time I oiled it a bit). Despite the ridges, cleaning it is also no hassle bc there is always little to no residue left from baking. Overall, I’ve used these twice and have been very satisfied, I would def repurchase to bake in larger quantities!

I like the quality! My tarts baked well. But had to go out of my way to make one extra tart to have a sum of 12 for my guests!

Updated on 7/3/2020: I initially rated this transaction a 3-star one, because i find the mold too shallow for me need (to make egg tart). Upon research i find that all molds sold in Amazon are shallow like this. I also contacted the seller. The seller provided very good services, going above and beyond my expectation. And she even informed me they are developing a better mold to make egg tarts. Overall, i still don't think the 3.0 inch mold is good for egg tart. But i think it'd be for fruit tarts and other tarts. I am going to try using the 3.8 inch mold to make egg tarts instead. Either way, this seller is really good. You can buy from them with full confidence! I bought the 3.0 inch mold specifically to make egg tarts. I opted for the bigger size and have read the description the 3.0 inch one is perfect for egg tart. I received this today and my first reaction was this is smaller than i expected. I like my egg tart with enough egg in it. But with this mold, even though i tried to make the crust not too thick, there's not enough room left to fill it with my optimal amount of egg. I am disappointed with the size, had i known this is so small, i would have ordered the bigger one =(

The edges are sharp and it cut me.
