Great product for the price
I’m 5’10 270lbs. These fit snug but we’re very comfortable. The protection is quite well for what I was wanting. I use them under my motocross pants. My waist is 42. They do have a sticky band on the inside to help keep them in place, However I do wear a pair of high quality spandex over these. I harescramble and mostly sit as I ride and the extra spandex help to hold them in place better. They are thin and very breathable ( not hot ) and I believe for the price they are an exceptional purchase. I normally buy the much more expensive pair, but I wear them out quickly ( in my sit riding style ) so I chose to try a cheaper pair. So far I am very pleased with this choice. I would recommend to any rider who doesn’t have a pair, and to all my bigger relaxed rider friends. I hope this helps.

Wish the front thigh armor covered more
I bought this for dirt motorcycle riding, the main thing I was wanting was front thigh armor. I know it wasn't expensive, so I wasn't expecting much. The plastic armor pieces are very thin, which I was expecting. However the armor only protects the side of your thighs, not the front. It also offers some hip armor and tail bone armor. It is easy to put on and take off, and it is very light and thin, which is a decent compromise. Even though it isn't exactly what I wanted, I'm giving it 4 stars because for the price, it is pretty good.

Cool & Comfy
New edit: photo shows sturdy plastic. That would have been my thigh. So pleased! The pictures make these appear bulky, but I really hardly notice I'm wearing them even when it's over 100F. I use them mountain biking on rocky terrain. I fall often, so I'm the perfect reviewer for these shorts. I have fallen onto rocks several times since I bought these, and they not only protected me from contusions, the hard plastic did not break. They slip on and off easily over your regular chamois even when you're sweaty. I can even put them on & take them off without removing my biking shoes. The sizing is standard. The construction is very good. The price is very reasonable. I recommend them highly.

Great fit,Lightweight,protective.
Likes: *Perfect contours ,fit (Size Medium) I'm 207 ,wear a 32W x31L pant. *Medium is a very good fit. Not quite compression tight ...but snug and supportive. * I can wear them under tactical trousers for moto riding,or for riding to work with casuals without "printing" like i'm up-armored. *Excellent tailbone protection with no discomfort-i was worried about this because i'm up&down all day at work.No issues at all. * Overall very comfortable. Dislikes: None Mentions: There is no Fly, but this is not a problem ..most guys do the "pulldown method" anyway. There's enough give for that tactic. A button ,zipper or otherwise would just add another level or failure point, in my opinion. I'm purchasing these again ,soon.

I got a bum pair
I must've got a bum pair. All the side and hip protection that's supposed to be on the side is sewn more towards the front. The plastic backpiece and tailbone protection are fine but the pieces that are supposed to be on the side of my leg are more inbetween the side and the front. I know I got the right size because they fit perfectly. They seem to be decent quality I think I just got a bum pair. At least they'll work for tailbone protection, I'll just hope I don't fall onto my hip while riding.

Great extra layer of protection.
I spen 120 on a pair from a mayor mototcycle website and had to return them for sizing issues. These are spot on and for the price they are a good buy! I wear them under my track leather suit .....

Not for Motorcycles
Absolutely useless for motorcycle riding. More suited for ebike/bicycle riding on paved, metro walking trails.

Really great product. Medium fits perfect - I am 5ft 9 at 180lb. It fits snug enough to stay in place during activities. The waist does go way up but I guess that's to allow for the tailbone protection to fit properly. I wear these under Jean's and shorts and I think the fit is ok. The thigh protector shows a bit but it does not matter to me. I wear separate knee pads and there is adequate room with these to allow for that. I had a crash and this gear did its job- so much so that there were no abrasions at all with the hips or legs- the elbows is where the asphalt got me. So I picked up better elbow pads....overall great purchase.
