Beautiful piece of furniture🥰Amazing how opinions vary for same product.🥴This is a sturdy stool and so practical👏👏👏The “TOP” step is a hinged area for storage.It’s much deeper than the first step, so that’s a PLUS. It holds two of my large Bibles, 2 or 3 paperback books, all standing upright, my box of recipe cards and a couple of boxes of small jewelry I wear often🤗🤗🤗🤗It holds much more than I had hoped for.I have no complaints about whether it is real wood or not‼️ For the price, it is heavy duty and doubles as a storage space for me at my bedside.I use it differently than shown. I have it a few inches from my bedside and turned facing me. I don’t need to step up on it.I have cancer in my spine and I need it simply to boost my body onto the bed using the bottom step.I put my feet on the bottom step and my butt on the edge of the bed and using my feet to push me up and my hands bracing me on my mattress, I push myself back onto the bed and gently swing my legs, one at a time onto the bed.My last little stool broke a leg and I FELL getting into bed.Glory to The Holy Spirit, I wasn’t hurt🙏🙏My Angel was here🥰🥰🥰It was a “soft” fall and my bones were protected. 👏💃🏻👏💃🏻For anyone that is familiar with stage 4 cancer, my cancer markers are “down” 36 points. 👏💃🏻👏💃🏻👏💃🏻👏💃🏻👏💃🏻I was given a death sentence by December 2018. I BELIEVE GOD💥🤛💥🤛💥🤛Just thought this might Bless someone in more ways than one🥰🥰🥰🥰

Bought this after reading many positive reviews, and the price is right. The style will compliment any decor, from Country...to Modern...to Traditional. I like the fact that it is not juvenile-looking as many are that I had seen in stores. The quality is much nicer as well and is very sturdy. I also like the fact that it has a nice storage space. It was somewhat easy to assemble, but I had to laugh that the instructions state that 2 adults are required to assemble this. I'm not sure why...I did it myself and it only took about 15-20 minutes. The instructions were quite simple to follow. The only challenge I had was making sure not to screw the metal "dowels" in too far to enable the round grippers to have enough clearance for the screw head to grab on to when turning (hope that was easy to understand). Overall, this is a nice little step and can also be used for Seniors or pregnant gals who need help getting into a taller bed. I bought this for a day bed and my 2-year-old grandson. I was surprised that the instructions also stated that this stool will withstand up to 200 pounds, so that should tell you how sturdy it really is. The dark cherry is not a reddish finish and goes very well with espresso furniture as well. I definitely recommend it.UPDATE: I just noticed that this stool is listed for $89, of which I did NOT pay..got it for less than half that! I would have reservations spending that much and would check other avenues for the same item.

I put the 2 stepper beside my bed which is a high riser. It is perfect. Now my grandgirls and I can safely climb into bed without tipping over. . Which is what was happening with the small step stool I had been using. An added bonus on this pretty dark cherry wood stool is the hinged top step opens and you have a nice size space for storing " treasures". It was easy for me to assemble.

I am so disappointed with this stool. I bought it because I have one similar and I love it. My Mother in law needed something to help her get into bed. I didn’t see where it said “simple assembly required”. Which I thought was pretty amusing since it totally had to be assembled. I had this shipped to my in laws. Once he read it took 2 people to assemble he set it aside. I brought it home with me to get help putting it together for them. I feel like he attempted it and couldn’t figure it out. Because one of the pieces in the first step, the holes weren’t drilled completely through so he couldn’t understand how to do it. I put it together myself. It looks nice, but after reading the reviews about it being slippery now I am worried to give it to her.. I don’t feel it is worth the cost. Had I not had to drill out a few holes and put it together, the cost wouldn’t have bothered me.

The instructions were terribly writen but my husband is pretty handy so he managed without them. The step is pretty small but does its job. I would like it was a bit more sturdy, I'm 8 months pregnant and need this asap it was becoming very difficult to climb up our bed. Overall pretty good looks good and the storage is great for little things

Sturdy and well made. We added foam non slip to steps for our dogs to use to get up on our camper bed

Cute step stool but the steps are very small - maybe terrific for children, but I didn't feel comfortable/safe using it as an adjult. It was also very slippery on our hardwood floor so I felt like it was going to slide out from under me the few times I used it. It's a cute piece of furniture, but the finish scratches easily. I wanted to send it back, but it didn't have an option to return it. I should have paid attention to that before I ordered it.

Quality is really nice, its sturdy and blends well with bedroom furniture. It was easy to put together. The storage space is definitely a plus. The only reason I did not rate it 4-stars is because it was missing the hardware to attached the arms. Since it is an item to assist you in getting into a high position it would be a great ideal to add non slip strips to the steps.The best thing of all was the customer service I received from both Amazon and the distributor. After waiting for over 2 weeks I reached out to Amazon who within 24 hours contacted the distributor. Within that same 24 hours I received apologies from everyone about the delay and with 4 business days I received the item. It was worth the wait. What the heck 4stars it is....
