Rocketry: Investigate the Science and Technology of Rockets and Ballistics

This was given as a birthday gift to an engineering-minded 9 year old boy. He loves the projects, and the lessons he's been able to learn about rockets.

During the summer I taught a Rocketry class for the Summer Institute for the Gifted. I used the book as a supplement to the class; there was no book for the course. The book provides a nice background on rocketry, along with suggested activities that I was able to perform with my kids. I taught middle school students and book was right for this age group. Yet, some of the exercises would be great for younger kids too.

I read it and enjoyed. Gift for science oriented 13 yo
