Really great ... a couple of caveats ... but really great ...
What a truly beautiful board! Definitely 5 stars (so far ... if things change I will come back and re-edit this review).I bought the 16x12 version, which is a great size for nearly all cutting of vegetables (on the flat side) and cooked meats (on the grooved side) except that when I carve a turkey, I need much bigger grooves and a well. Perhaps a bigger board too. (Actually, I put a board like this inside a large pan to catch the drippings, and I don’t bother buying a huge turkey cutting board.)Most important, will this board warp, as so many others I’ve owned have warped? I think not, because when I examine the edge, it looks like they did a good job of matching the grains of the pieces, so that a “curve up” piece is next to a “curve down” piece — if you don’t know what I mean, don’t worry, it’s just a way carpenters prevent excessive warping. The board is built from five 16x2” pieces glued together, and the first and last are 1” wide. Unlike other boards I’ve seen, the glue between the pieces is a very, very thin strip but visible. Not a problem, just an observation. (FYI if you ever need to repair a cracked cutting board, use Titebond Glue III which is food safe, and clamp tightly.)The board clearly needed some oiling when it arrived, so I used food-safe mineral oil. No instructions arrived with it. Is something better than that for teak? It took a small amount of oil, soaked in overnight. The cutting, grooving etc were quite sufficient, but not perfectly sanded to a silky surface. Nothing that I felt presented a problem.Once oiled, the appearance is beautiful. Of course, I expect it will get all scratched up. If you like wood grains, you won’t be disappointed. Golden and brown.I did not love the fact that the Lipper logo was lightly embossed into the flat side of the board. It’s not deep enough to cause cutting problems or catch bits of food, but it is embossed deep enough to feel when you run your fingers over it, and that should not have been. Put it on the edge, Lipper!Worse, was a 2” sticker that came off easily enough, but left a sticky gooey mess on the board that was very hard to take off — and even now, I can see a circular shadow where the glue was. Not necessary, imho. The board came from Amazon unwrapped, just on the bottom of a 12x16 cardboard box. I like the fact that no plastic was wasted wrapping each one.Cutting on this board is really nice. Through the knife, I can tell it is a harder wood than my other boards (maple or ash, I guess) but so far it does not seem to dull the knife any more than other woods. I use a honer whenever knives seem to need it. (I have noticed bamboo dulls knives quicker.) The edges of the board are crisp and square. So far cutting has produced zero discernable scratches on the board, but I assume that will not last.In short, I think it is well worth the price. There was only one review when I bought this, and so I couldn’t do my usual fakespot dot com on the page, but I feel I really lucked out with a board that might have cost twice as much for this exceptional quality. And, it is made in USA, using sustainably harvested teak. Less than $30 for a board that might cost $50 or $60.

Stubborn label glue
I guess it's an ok board, but the groove isn't very deep (much shallower than it looks in the pictures). Worse, They put a sticker on it. The sticker came off nicely but left a spot of glue that doesn't come off. It's also got branding in the center of the back side, making that side useless. I would have been much happier with a reversible board. Nobody cares about your stupid brand, just leave the surface clean for cutting.

Good product for the price
I've used this board a couple of times now - I needed a smaller one for when I need to quickly cut something. One thing I do suggest (some other reviewers mentioned this) is to treat it before using it. I washed it with mild soap and water as soon as I opened it, and wood was already starting to "shed" off a bit already, so I immediately treated it with food grade mineral oil which seemed to help. Unlike other woods though, this one isn't as absorbent (probably a good thing for a cutting board) so you really don't need a lot of oil.The only other issue is the sticker on the back, it left a sticky residue which is hard to get off, but other than that it seems to be a good purchase so far for the price I paid..it also looks very nice which I know is important for people who may use it for presentation purposes.

Great board, horrible packaging
Seems to be good quality. The grain pattern comes out nice with a bit of mineral oil. I was less than impressed with the packaging. It came bare naked, not even a flimsy film covering. To add further insult, the obnoxious sticker on the board left a sticky mess when I took it off, one of my biggest pet peeves. Thus a star was docked 🤨

Sticky adhesive on labels. Hard to remove.
I love the boards themselves. The wood is beautiful, however, I had the hardest time getting the sticky glue off after I took off the stickers. It was gooey and just would not come off. I had trouble getting it off my fingers as well.

Falling apart quickly
After just the second use of this cutting board it began to fall apart. We were looking for a replacement that would last as long as the one that we had for 20 years but sadly this is now almost junk. Those lines are beginning to separate, which will hold bacteria. That is why we got rid of the old board.

Would not recommend
Item overpriced for the quality. The wood is not polished. Rough machining. Sharp edges not smoothed. Tiny wood fibers come off the board and stick out everywhere. Not recommendOne can actually buy on Amazon an amazing acacia wood cutting boards set of three pieces for the same amount of money which I also did.

Use this product to slice cooked meat and serve.
This cutting board is great. Because of depth you can cut meat and serve at table without juice spilling. Makes a nice presentation. I will buy again.

Looks really good
Good looking and solid cutting board. One star off because they put their brand right in the middle of the reverse side. I'm already paying you for the product, I don't need an ad staring me in the face.

Meet my expectations
Have been using it everyday.treated it with oil every week no issues so far. It do get some cutting scratches which is fine considering it is a cutting board. I like its colour and the thickness. One star off because that annoying glue I have to use alcohol to get rid of it.

Thanks for the glue
There's a nice big sticker on the bottom that leaves a bunch of really, REALLY sticky glue on the board that I can't get off. There's a big circular stain of glue. It's obnoxious and makes the board worthless, in my opinion. One star

Pretty much works as described?
It's exactly as described, down to the permanent dark spot where the logo sticker was before I removed it. That is okay though, I don't use that side so it never shows:)

Excellent quality highly recommend
Love this cutting board. Perfect size and like the lip around the edge to catch any juices from getting all over. Will buy more sizes.
