Women's Long Loose Casual Asymmetrical Oversize Handkerchief Hem Jersey Maxi Dress (Made In The USA)

When traveling, I prefer to pack as light as possible, and this garment had to be multi purpose to work as a casual dress/lounger/sleeper. I took a chance ordering it, as I typically never fit into anything smaller than a women's XL in shirts or dresses. Glad I did! First, this garment is made in the USA, it is not Asian or euro sizing. The fabric is a very soft, very forgiving, rayon blend jersey that gives without stretching out, the kind that drapes beautifully. My experience with this kind of fabric is that it always washes and wears well, so long as you hang it to dry. The cut on me fits, flatters and falls in all the right places without swallowing my 5'1 frame. The longest part of the handkerchief hem hits just above my ankles, right where I wanted it to. The pockets are great. I can see anyone from a size 12 to a size 20 being comfortable in the size L, which is what I purchased. The only negative I can report is the fabric is a bit more opaque than I would have liked, but a cami set underneath solves that problem when necessary. Fabric is breathable and lightweight, it will work well for sleeping. This type of item always travels well, and doesn't have to be fussed over when getting packed or cleaned up for the next go round. The black is great, not only is it my form of a quick diet, it wont show red wine stains - which I'm quite sure it will be exposed to more than once in the future :). Overall, extremely happy with the purchase and plan to order other styles of this type for the warmer months from this vendor.

I am a size 10/12. I ordered a 2X thinking the size would not be true sizing as with other online ordering places. To my surprise it was a true 2X! I managed to nip and tuck it to fit and I looked absolutely gorgeous for my special program! Thank you very much! I will be ordering from you again!!

Drapes beautifully. I bought it, sure that this is an American size and fits! This is really great bhecause, lately I have being buying Asian size, many times without knowing, and it's very confusing, inefficient and frustrating. This dress is Elegant, Comfortable and especially, very forgiving. I had a previous one, in gray abnd bought this beije now. I dress it to go since to go to some social visits in family or friends or to the supermarket with my flat and.comfortable shoes. It's agreable just to grab the dress andress and go without be thinking in pieces to fit. Sometimes I look at it and think how they would be sooo comfortable even as gowns to sleep with, because they are wide, have huge elasticity and doesn't deform. Lots of flattery cumpliments when I am out with them.

This dress is very roomy, and make sure that you purchase it true to size. I am very very busty and my upper arms are thick. So I usually have to buy my clothes to fit that area and tailor the rest. Received alot of compliments and it feels airy. Very comfortable fit. I love it I have it in many colors!

The dress is amazing, but I am normally a medium to large, so the baggy like fit made it perfect! I ordered a medium.

Here is why you should buy this dress. Hand to Heaven, this just happened. I turned 65 on September 8, last Friday, and I wore this dress. Just now, a beautiful young woman stopped me near my building and said "Ma'am, I saw you last week wearing a beautiful pink dress and I wondered if you would tell me where you got it." She looked to be about twenty, and absolutely lovely. Told me she thought I looked beautiful in it and loved how the dress flows and swirls. You should have one, too. I am curvy, 5'4" with long legs. I bought the XL so it wouldn't be tight through the bust or upper arms. It's perfect. I wear heels with it or it would be just a shade too long, but with pretty heels, it is fluid and elegant and show-stopping.

Wonderful dress that can be completely casual or very elegant. Love that it has a pocket -- pockets are essential and too many designers skip that.It has a wonderful drape and flow; the fabric is substantial but can be worn in 3 seasons (probably too hot for summer). A great basic in any wardrobe. I love mine.

Just received this dress in the mail yesterday. Here is my review. I give the dress a 5 star rating for color and style. Beautiful purple color and great style. I love the handkerchief hem look. It is really a cute dress. I give a 3 star rating for the material type, it is rather thin and see thru. I give a 4 star rating for the length, its long, but not too long. I give it a 4 star rating for being comfortable. Other thoughts... Its a bit baggy under the armpit area. If it was a size smaller that might eliminate the problem, there were no size large in this dress so I had to order the next size up which made the dress a bit baggy but not too baggy to keep and wear. I won't send it back because it would cost extra shipping. And I do like the purple color. Overall, except for the bagginess its an alright dress but I probably wouldn't buy it again due to the thinness of the material used to make the dress. Thank you!
