Chips & Joppie Sauce
Had this when we were in Spain with Chicken Strips. It tastes great, a mix of mustard mayo & sweet peppers. Goes well with chips too:)

Delicious!
As a frequent visitor to Europe in the late 70’s and early 80’s I must of encountered this condiment and then forgotten about it. Maybe it was something on the radio that mentioned Joppie sauce and I immediately found it on amazon, ordered and hey presto there it was. Rather like a mild spicy mayonnaise this Dutch staple has , I , guess, a background in the Dutch colonisation of Indonesia ?Anyway it’s probably full of additives etc but it’s lovely with fries !
