Delivered in very sturdy cardboard box and with no damage. Read instructions and assembled in a few minutes; lid is the trickiest part but be firm and it will click into position. Light enough to carry fully assembled and once positioned in the garden I filled with garden waste I had accumulated over the past weeks. Body is as robust as you can ask for at this price and should last a few years if looked after. No floor to composter as compost needs to be in touch with the soil. Lid has a catch so not lifting in the wind (so far) and keeps moisture in. How fast it makes compost suppose depends on what you feed it with and the temperature. Now it is the start of winter so will need some patience. So pleased I will buy another as this is now full. So much neater than a heap in the corner.

Easy to assemble5 pieces which just slot together. Takes ten minutes. that is a plus. The points I have noticed straightaway are the vent holes around the base. (great for ventilation and allowing mice to enter freely, eat and nest) No base cover so needs to be placed on a hard surface. if placed on soft ground, past experience of compost bins has taught me that Rats like to tunnel underneath and have a tasty home with great nest. I have not used it yet but these points were glaring. I will try to make a base and have bricks for the lid to ensure the clever rodents do not lift the lid to enter. Not bad for the price. Basic but sturdy.

Based on the many positive reviews I opted to buy 2 of these as gifts for my father, he has a huge garden and a lot of green waste. This is a basic square plastic box with a lid - no base, so it will allow insects and worms to come up through the soil. We thought it was a perfect height for being able to reach into the bin to turn the ingredients. It takes less than 5 minutes to fit together and as previous reviewers have said the lid is the hardest piece to fit on, you need a good firm thump with the base of your palm or gently does it with a hammer and some cloth to prevent cracking the plastic. I bought compost maker/accelerator products separately. My father was impressed with how much waste the bin held and only time will tell how robust and sturdy the bin is but previous buyers seem happy. Delivery was excellent and on time and good value for money.

Bought this after my conical one with a push on lid became full. It was very easy to assemble, less than 5 minutes. Its bigger than my other one, making turning the compost a doddle .The lid is easier to use as its hinged and can stay up, as is the lower door. Its also aerated so bugs can easily get in and get to work.

Easy to assemble but is not very sturdy. I am not sure how long it will last once it comes into constant use.

We were only able to attach 1 section of the lid out of 4. We are just hoping the wind won't reck it. However the body was put easily together. It fits perfectly in our small garden and we are looking forward to making out own compost out of friction and vegetable peelings etc.

Arrived on time easy to put together, is very sturdy, lid is secure, very pleased with it. Wish I had room for another as this would make turning compost much easier. Will have to see how it stands the test of freezing in winter

Very pleased with this composter. Daftly, I didn't notice that the instructions are on the outer packaging & very clear! Without reference to these instructions I easily assembled the composter in about 2 mins. The only minor negative is fixing on the lid. The little spigots need a firm & steady pressure (along with a butter knife) to get them to slide into their location without breaking the plastic. This could mean that if you experience trouble with your grip strength you may prefer to leave the lid placed loose on top rather than hinged. However the positive of this design is the lid is very securely hinged once attached & will really only come off if you break the plastic. Just love this composter, already filled one, now to fill the others........

Couvercle un peu dur à monter

Buon prodotto in relazione al prezzo di acquisto. Plastiche un po’ troppo duttili, ma stabile e di bell’aspetto; io ho preferito mettere tra la compostiera ed il terreno una rete in plastica a maglia fina per separare il compost prodotto, dal terreno, ma permettendo in ogni caso il contatto a terra. Da posizionare su una superficie assolutamente piana poiché non essendo particolarmente rigide le plastiche, si deforma e il coperchio non chiude bene; io consiglio di segnare il perimetro e scavare con la zappa qualche centimetro per interrarlo leggermente, bastano 5 centimetri, per stabilizzarlo ulteriormente. Montaggio semplicissimo, 2 minuti di orologio, i componenti si incastrano molto facilmente. Aspetto gradevole e buona capienza.

Ottimo prodotto. Plastiche molto resistenti. Montaggio facilissimo, ci sono voluti giusto 5 minuti.
