Fantastic brushes, if brushes aren't your thing.
When I got these brushes, I didn't have the highest expectations, being that they're several dollars cheaper than most of the other options with respectable ratings. My drummer had needed brushes for acoustic accompaniment, and I picked these up for him. He had said that they are reasonably louder than traditional brushes, and handled somewhat closer to sticks. Also noting that he preferred these brushes over the Zildjian wired ones that he had purchased twice before.

Great value.
A bit stiff, but works. They look like they could crack, but for the price oh well.

Worth.
Played my first gig and these things are nice. Comfortable and make a really good sound...even on junky kits. Worth.

Stiff thick bristles
The sound produced isn't flexible enough. The brush construction seems good.

Junk... just by wire jazz brushes
Don't waste your money. The bristles are a heavy nylon... which gave off the a great sound. After roughly 45 minutes of playing, the bristles started coming out 1 by 1. Eventually, all the bristles fell out in one clump. They're merely held together with a rubber band & squeezed into a junk handle.

Strong brushes great for playing soft and hard.
Over all great brushes but had to sand the tips a bit as they are sharp. No big chore. I use these brushes on a cajon and on a snare drum. The sanding was my own thing as I am careful not to scratch my drum surface. These are better then Hot Rods and I have a pair. (Hot Roods cost $20.00)

They are ok to practice with bit sound off
Truth is I don't like the sound I get from these, gonna try the metallic ones and see if that's why

OMG! What an invention.
These brushes sound crisp and are great for many styles of music. You can flip them and use the other end as a pseudo drumstick sound on cymbals and drums that are part of your drum set. They are great!
