I really like the look of the Unipaws Cat Litter Box Enclosure it blends in nicely with my home and doesn’t look like a typical litter box. It fits a standard-size Tidy Cats litter box perfectly and does a great job keeping odors contained. Cleaning and scooping are very easy thanks to the thoughtful design, and the height is great for reducing litter mess. The plastic is thick and sturdy, not flimsy at all, which makes it feel durable and well made. My cat had no issues adjusting to it and started using it right away. Overall, it works great, looks great, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I would definitely recommend it and would buy it again.

The product was as just as the picture showed nd came as the seller stated. I purchased this item for a "Feral Cat" that we socialized as a younger kitten. When we had him checked by our local veterinarian we discovered that he is FIV positive and now has come to live his days in our Sunroom. This cat is on Lysine and Digestive Aids and his box odors can be stronger than our inside two "Siamese". I wanted to disguise the litter box in our Sunroom, hope to eliminate excessive tracking of his litter and help disguise the odder. My husband, has many other projects at the time and being too busy to build the litter box enclosure, led me to purchase the product. Being that he is very handy in wood working he put the cat liter box enclosure together with no concerns. It appeared that is would be a very basic project for anyone to do. It came with no damage, easy to follow instructions, was a good choice of color to match the furnishings in our Sunroom. One of the ratings showed that their item came damaged with the backside in a white material and damage along the edges. The one we received is all the same type and color all the way around, with the same MDF and veneer overlay that will be very easy to clean. Charlie (our Sunroom Cat) had no problem in adjusting to using this as it contained no strange odor as some furniture can have. He likes sitting on the top, and being a cat use to the outdoors for so many months, find any litter box a place to hide. If you keep the upper high sides on the box it will be a tighter fit, yet easy to turn slightly to pull out and clean. The litter box small open area was a place that I felt Charlie would be able to seek a haven when someone comes to visit as he is not a socialized cat. I purchased this with the suggested litter box and the mats. The litter box has the higher side attachment and good especially for the male cat that he is. He also covers all his matter deeply so with the higher sides it helps to keep the litter contained and not overflow unto the floor inside, plus (so far) keep the urine from dripping unto the product. The matts are thicker and better at trapping litter from the previous similar matts that I have purchased. So far I have seen much less litter on the floor outside of the box and have yet to decide if I will add a matt at the entrance. The whole idea is to disguise the box completely and it does just that. with less sweeping of the floor when I clean the box. The one question I had, which the manufacture answered, was the formaldehyde that holds the MDF material together and its rating. They stated is is a 0.068, which if I remember correctly it should be below 0.11. I like this box and look to purchase a similar ones - yet smaller- for our inside cats litter boxes that we have. To me I found it be a very attractive piece of furniture. I did not get the matt pad for the top which would have been a great addition to the whole kit. I am able to sew one and was looking for something to match the cabin - fishing décor of our sunroom. I may change my mind later as the cost of fabric, like everything else these days, has increased more that I had anticipated. Hope you find this information helpful.

Pros: Pretty easy to build, good instructions. Did take about 30 minutes, but that might be because the curious cat kept crawling all over it and slowing me down. Very sturdy - cat is fat (16 pounds) and the top doesn't sag or wobble when she jumps up on it. Have a large high-sided litter box and it fits neatly inside without the separate partition. Doors work really smoothly, love the magnets to hold them closed and I like the vents in the back - aside from allowing for air flow, it also allows some ambient light through so cat doesn't have to go to the bathroom in the pitch darkness. I was worried about the height and the size of the entrance - aside from being fat, our cat is also relatively tall (~18 inches), but she seems to have no issues getting in and out. Cons: Other reviewers mentioned the odd smell and I have to agree. The whole thing smells of kerosine (or another similar volatile hydrocarbon). The smell is moderately strong and so far very hard to get rid of. I attacked the panels with a thick lather of soap and some pine sol for good measure (don't ask me why, but cat likes pine sol) and let them air out on the patio for a few hours before building. Panels held up well to the cleaning (pleasantly surprised! appear to be water resistant enough to survive a good sponging), but at the end of the day the bench stubbornly continued to smell of kerosine after the soap/pine sol smell dissipated. Fortunately my cat does not seem to be bothered at all by the smell (but did I mention she is crazy and likes the smell of pine sol?), but the fumes are unpleasant enough to me that I can imagine a fair number of other cats might be disturbed by it. It has been about a week and she seems to have no issues using the storage bench, but despite packing the thing with 5 bamboo charcoal deodorizers in addition to the litter box and routinely airing it out a couple times a day when cat is not using it, the bench still smells just as much like a kerosine lamp inside as it did when I first got it. I guess the plus side is that I can't smell the litter box and, like I said, the kerosine scent isn't super strong, so unless I get really close I can't smell it. A little worried kitty might get high on the fumes after awhile though. Hoping the smell will go away eventually. Otherwise no complaints.

We really like this litter box enclosure. It looks like a piece of furniture, and is sturdy. More importantly, our cat likes it. When I first put it together I waited to put his cat pan in. He would get on top and lay on the cabinet like it was his perch. That told me he was comfortable with it. When I moved his potty pan inside, he didn't have any hesitancy. It's time consuming to put together but easy. It would have gone faster had I had an electric screw driver. Otherwise, instructions are easy to follow and all the pieces were very well packaged and labeled. I did not insert the dividing wall so our jumbo box would fit, and that worked. It is very easy to access the inside to clean the litter box.

Great size and fits even the larger litter boxes. Love the divider which catches most of the litter and stops it from getting all over the floor. Cats took to it without any problems. Really easy to put together, and the instructions were very clear

UPDATE: Just wanted to give a 3+ year update. The enclosure is still holding up and looks great! Unfortunately, cats like to have more open litterboxes, so my 4 cats almost never use this. I'm thinking of turning it into lil bed area for them, and if they ignore that then it'll just become extra storage for me. I'd still recommend this, but wanted to give another forewarning that your cats may not like to use it. --------- I got this a little over a year ago and still absolutely love it. No issues at all, despite multiple cats going in and out daily. It was easy to assemble, even though I am not very handy at building things. I love that you have the option to have the wall inside or not, and you can put the doors on either side so it's flexible. Forewarning if you have picky cats though. Not all cats are okay with enclosed litterboxes, so if you know your cat is picky with their litterboxes, they might not like this. Also I definitely recommend having a vacuum if you get this. The bottom tends to get covered in litter, and it can be hard to clean it, especially in the corners.

Il mobile è molto carino, può tranquillamente essere messo in un ingresso o in un soggiorno. Ho risolto anche il problema della sabbietta sparsa ovunque.

Let me start by saying we purchased this product 2 years ago. We needed something to keep the cats x large litter tray (the one from pets at home with the hood) neatly away where my toddler daughter wouldn’t be able to get to it but equally where it wouldn’t look ugly and out of place in our living area. We live in a small house, so space was a big factor. I remember the item came quickly, although expensive we could actually afford it (we couldn’t find anything else that was suitable, which we could afford). It put together fairly easily but the doors were a bit wonky, my partner managed to sort that out (but I cannot remember how). One of my cat likes to scratch the inside and was making the door pop open so we put a little latch lock on it which looks cute. We couldn’t have the inner wall on because the tray we have is too big. It is stored under our stairs with two grey wicker baskets on top for storage. It looks nice and nobody guesses that it is containing a litter tray, we just make sure we change it twice a week and we have had no problem with smell either. There is no question that for what it is, it is NOT high quality, it is basically MDF and it is overpriced. HOWEVER it is the nicest most reasonably priced discreet cover that I could find and I spent ages looking on the internet, even looking at posh litter trays (extraordinary what people will pay for a litter tray?). Anyway, I would recommend it. Hope that helps someone.
