This is the best wash to use on white horses. It gets the yellow stains out and leaves them pure white. It’s best to use gloves when washing because it will dry your hands out. Nothing major but your hands will peel a few days because it’s strips the moisture out. I’ve bought this multiple times over the years. Excellent product.

I used this in the 70s to wash my horses. Now, I bought it to use on everything, including my life-sized stuffed Old English Sheepdog. Perfect for washing mops and even hunting clothes because it is unscented. The uses are endless and it changes to a hard crust in the winter, more liquid in the summer. Just so many uses for this easy to use soap that rinses easily and can be used safely on most things.

I use Orvis Paste for laundry. It is a gentle cleaner that does the job of cleaning, but best of all it does not strip color from bright colors in clothing. I use cold water, a gently cycle. It takes a small amount. It keeps clothing looking better longer.

There are no harsh chemicals. Excellent for washing all clothes/towels/bedding by machine to hand washing (maybe a few small animals too). I learned about the product from quilters. It does remove heavy grease or dirt.

This gentle cleaner works great on upholstery. I’ve also used it with a soft brush to clean the lichen and organic debris off of headstones at the cemetery. Another place I’ve used it is to clean my window screens with a soft brush. In each case I just put about a 1/4 cup into a large pail of warm water, swirled it around with my hand to dissolve and it was ready to use. I simply rinsed with warm water when done. This is such a great product I can’t wait to try it on other things….sweaters?

I use this to clean headstones, works great! Very gentle yet does a great job!

I bought this to wash quilts with. It is originally made as a horse soap. But due to the very gentle nature of this soap, it has grown to be very popular with quilt/textile makers. A little bit goes a long ways, so this large container will last a very long time. This soap does not have the normal laundry soap "whiteners" and "Brighteners". which are so harsh on natural fiber fabrics. The directions for use as a quilt soap are indicated on the label, along with how to use on a horse, should you be buying it for that purpose. The directions were easy to follow and the first time I used it, I was convinced I would not use anything else again. The quilt (newly made, not vintage) washed without fading, color bleeding (I use color catchers as well, just in case) and no strong perfume scent or residue left in the quilt afterwards. The container was shipped with a few other items I ordered. It was packed well, arrived intact, with a plastic bag around it, which was a nice precaution.
