I hope the metal version holds up better than the plastic
I broke one clear handle so I bought a 5 pack of clear PLASTIC handles (Danco part no. 25442). The clear handles discolor so you have to replace them in pairs or they look off. I installed 2 handles and had issues with them coming lose and breaking. They're cheap, made in China, plastic handles and eventually I broke 3 PLASTIC on the same faucet.This time I decided to go with this Danco metal version, (Danco part no. 25443). I hope the metal version holds up better than the plastic.The instructions state "Using screw and "lock washer" secure the handle, do not over tighten, but there are no lock washers in the kit. I called Danco tech support they weren't aware of the issue.-I would go with this metal version over the plastic.-I would get 5 lock washers to keep the handles from loosening up.
