I figured I would gamble on these and try them over the OEM ones. They worked great and they filter all odors especially pet odors. Make sure you replace your bag at the same time and start fresh.

Perfect fit for my Miele vacuum. Much cheaper too without any downsizes. After-all it's just a filter, nothing high tech. The small brush is useless. No need for it.

For the last year I have used the Veva HEPA filters in my Miele upright. When it came time to buy more, unfortunately they were out of stock. So, I ordered these EZ Spares since they were available. The EZ Spares has an added layer of carbon filter which neutralizes odors. The EZ Spares filter also uses a foam seal to hermetically seal the airflow, I like how well it works. Unfortunately, on visual inspection one can see that the HEPA filter has less folds, I.e. lower surface area. The carbon layer, in my humble opinion, is an unecessary layer. HEPA filters shouldn't produce a smell, so the carbon layer may act more of a compensation for the poorer quality HEPA layer. I counted the folds in both filters in the same distance and found that the EZ Spares had 6 folds where the Veva had 8. The Veva filter uses a silicone seal as opposed to the EZ Spares' foam seal. Either one should work, may be a personal preference thing. While the Veva filter does not have a carbon layer, it doesn't need one as odors aren't present when the filter is in good condition. If odors are detectable, this means the filter has surpassed its useful life. Overall, in my opinion, the better filter is the Veva. Veva has good reliable HEPA filtration and is a better value at 3 filters for the same price as 2 EZ Spares. EZ Spares are an ok filter when other options aren't available.

Filter performs as advertised.

This fits my old S514 Miele perfectly. At first it didn’t seem to fit. I put the filter on, then had to force the cover down. I thought it just wasn’t going to fit very well. I was curious why. I saved the old filter, so looked at them side-by-side. They were exactly the same LxWxH. They had the same number of tabs and the “clip” was in the same place. I went back to the vacuum and pushed down hard on the filter in the front where the “clip” is. It snapped in, which then allowed the cover to close correctly. I am very happy now. $49 for one OEM versus $13 for two that are probably the exact same thing without the name.

If you want to burn up your machine then use these. The first filter went in fine, over time the rubber gasket seemed to swell causing the top to not close properly. I replaced with the second filter, it smelled like I was using a hair dryer. I checked and this one did not fit correctly at all. It snapped in with pressure but would come unsnapped when you turned the vacuum on. This caused the lid to lift enough for the vacuum bag to be pushed out of the slot. So all the dirt was going into the case, not into the bag. I replaced the bag thinking it was defective, same thing happened. Removed the HEPA filter and everything was fine.

Probably not as good as Miele original, but satisfactory at much lower cost.

This is an excellent replacement EPA filter for my Miele vaccum. It has made a difference to the amount of dust from the vacuum and my asthma is not so severe now when I vacuum.

Works great on my Miele vacuum. I've been using it since 2012.

Fit my older model vacuum perfectly

Firstly, I don't know how people are writing bad reviews because this is not an OEM Miele filter. What would make you think that it is? No where in the description does it say that this is original Miele. Was looking for a new filter for my Miele upright and the almost $50 price tag for an OEM shocked me. Discovered these units which seemed almost identical and much cheaper (about 1/6th the price of the Miele) and decided to give them a try. They look like OEM but the fit is just a tad smaller when you snap them into the filter slot (-1 star). It's not that they don't snap in but the OEM Miele that comes with the vacuum just seems to snap in a bit tighter. Have done about a half hour of vacuuming with this new filter and it appears to function just like OEM but of course I have no way to analyze the output exhaust to see the filtering capability. First couple of minutes of use emitted a new filter kind of smell but that quickly disappeared and now there is no smell. Happy with my purchase so far. Will update if anything changes.
