I had a very heavy synthetic fiber comforter that I finally had had enough of. It was hot, it made me sweat and it was so heavy even my toes bent at its weight. I struggled with that thing trying to make my bed and even when I tried to lift it off of me, I struggled with it, grunting and getting exhausted just to move it. I don't know why I waited so long to get rid of it.I replaced it with this. A dream. Making the bed (it's covered with a duvet) is so easy. I can pull it off of me easily and this is a medium. I don't even think a heavy one of these would have had the same problem as the synthetic one. I'm so happy with this purchase. It keeps me warm without making me sweat and it's sweet dreams at night now.
