The Best
I have been buying laser line and point levels for many years, and have gone through several Bosch, a Spectra, and even 2 PLS lasers. The Lino is by far the best engineered out of the group, and has the brightest points. Usually these devices have a margin of error that you have to be aware of and plan for. I checked the lino for "square" using the 3-4-5 method with the hypotenuse at 80', using a starett 100' tape. I found it to be dead on, which was a first for square lines out of a laser. It was also check for level and plumb and found to be perfect at 100 ft level and 50 ft plumb. I found my favorite laser, and a new company to do business with. Check out some of their other products too, they make some pretty cool stuff.

Why didn't I buy this in the beginning?
I'm renovating my home and the simians who built it wouldn't know a straight line if they were clubbed to death with a level. The house has also settled over the decades, so nothing is square even in the off chance it was once. This thing was worth every penny! Since I can't trust anything in the house to be square or plumb, I have this.I don't need to hold it like I do a level. I can set it up on my old camera tripod (the foot for my tripod and the laser both use a standard mounting screw), or I can just set it on a bucket, or I can use the neat clamp that came with it. It blinks to let you know if it's in lock mode (the mode used to prevent damage during transit, but it prevents the laser from "floating" and finding level) so you don't accidentally go off a line that isn't true. The green line is quite visible (more so than red lines I think), and suitable for anything indoors, and can be used outdoors as well on cloudy days (or before sunrise if you're one of "those" people). The line also doesn't become much thicker as the distance increases. It goes from roughly 1/8" at point blank to about 1/4" at 50' and if you make your mark in the center of the laser line it's fine regardless. It comes with a rechargeable battery pack (and charger), and can also accept standard batteries, and you have quite a bit of time from when it warns of low power till it actually turns off. You can also use it while plugged in to the charger. I've never been in a situation where I couldn't use it due to power. The clamp it comes with is great because you can clamp on to a 2by or anything thinner, it allows rotation, doesn't block the vertical axis laser dot, and the clamp is also magnetic. The clamp itself can be mounted to a tripod as well. The two parts of the clamp are held together by the magnet and the magnet is strong (be careful to not let it pinch you; it hurts lol). The magnet also allows for attaching to anything vertical and iron like a steel stud. There is a small gear that allows for a small analog adjustment vertically of about 3".The only two complaints I have are that the little rubberized feet on the clamp's jaws are NOT glued into place and just slide off and become lost. You will not be able to get replacements. I've tried. Their customer service is difficult to get a response from and they only offered me a full clamp at slightly less than retail cost. :/The other complaint is minor. The laser comes with a plastic "targeting plate" or something that's supposed to make the laser higher contrast and let you adjust to a specific height at a distance. It's worthless for that. Just make your mark with a felt marker and do your best while squinting. If you have assistance to tell your higher/lower/left/right that helps a lot.Bit of advice, do NOT attach or set the laser/clamp on anything that can move or vibrate, even slightly. I was working on shimming a wall with panels to correct it being a bit out of plum. When I was done I doublechecked my work and found that the laser had shifted due to the hammering. Also keep other workers away from the level. They won't notice when they bump it or tell you if they do :(Despite these somewhat minor issues, this thing has been a lifesaver. I wish I'd gotten it sooner and just skipped buying bubble levels. I don't even use them anymore except to put up to my laser line for fast straight marking!

Bright green light and accurate
The seller, Advanced Dimensions, shipped the same day I placed the order and it arrived via Fedex the next day. The laser comes in a very sturdy box. The laser has a locking mechanism for transportation or to lock the level while operating. The light was very bright indoors with both ambient and artificial light. The product is made in China, but it is truly very heavy duty. It contained all the items shown in the picture. The warranty is for 2 years, but Leica will extend it by an additional year if you register the product online within 8 weeks from purchase. You must keep your purchase receipt and email from Leica confirming the registration for future warranty claims. It comes with a calibration certificate dated March 2021.

One of the best line with plumb dot lasers out right now!
I work as an union commercial glazier and the job often requires the use of lasers. I've used PLS, Bosch, Hilti and Dewalt, but nothing comes close to how visible this laser is. My company seems to love to buy PLS and I couldn't stand trying to level out the window system during the day with it even though it was a new green laser. I bought this for my personal use and sometimes for work. I noticed how much brighter and finer the laser line is! It's hard to find a laser that has both vertical, horizontal lines and a plumb dot all in 1 unit which this has.I will always recommend Leica lasers over other laser brands now.

Great Product
I love this laser level. It's bright and the rechargeable battery outlasts others I have tried.I'm not a fan of the magnetic base to wall bracketThe level can easily dislodge from the wall bracket.

Pricey but an excellent tool
This is a great laser level for determining perimeters, vertical indexing (instead of a plumb bob), and determining horizontal planes. I'm color blind and the green laser color is much easier to see than the red version. Leica is always a bit on the expensive side, but this is so accurate and robust that its a good value for money.

SUPER BRIGHT!
Sent a clear line hundreds of feet and scared the neighbors while using it at dusk. Awesome. Superior to any others I have used including PLS, Bosch and STabila.
