Yummy scones and cinnimon rolls!
I bought the book because I like cardamom and I like to bake. In browsing through, the photo of cinnimon rolls caught my eye. That is likely because I am not familiar with most of the foods in the book. Most of the ingredients in the recipes are easily obtainable and the recipes read well.I chose to make the cinnimon roll recipe first. Easy to follow directions and yummy results. I added some plumped raisins to half of the batch with happy results all around.The stories behind the recipes give a sense of place and occasion that I find helpful in planning for when I will gather the ingredients and make a recipe. Many of them are calling out for me to give them a go!Five stars for the cinnimon roll recipe! I made the cinnimon rolls a second tme, refridgerating overnight and baking in the morning. Just as tasty.More stars for the future!The pear and cardamom scones are light and delicious.

The recipes in this book will add happiness to your day!
The recipes in this cookbook are easy, approachable, and full of delicious flavors! The melding of classic recipes and Indian flavors is just astounding!! The first thing I made was almond chikki and everyone that tasted it was floored by how delicious it is! The delightful flavor of freshly ground cardamom and the earthy sweetness of jaggery are such wonderful surprises in what looks like it will be an ordinary almond brittle! The recipes in this book make my day sweeter and brighter!

So far so good
I've only made the brownies (pretty good) and Gulab Jamun cake so far (delish!) and can't wait to try making more of the recipes. In fact, it's probably the only cookbook where I want to try everything in it.

Mouth watering!!
Amazing must have cookbook! Great step by step instructions and ingredient list in grams as well for best results! Such a lovely combination of Indian fusion desserts, sweets and drinks! Very unique recipes using wholesome ingredients! Very Highly recommended!! =)

Every recipe is beautifully pictured and explained. Lovely flavor combos unfamiliar to me make each recipe an adventure.

Just for the Tres Leches cake… this book is worth it!
I see many recipes I want to try in this beautiful recipe book.I have tried one so far, the Rabri Tres Leches cake. It is infused with cardamone, saffron and rose water. I mean: OMG… to roll on the floor!!Can’t wait to try more recipes..the Masala Doodh Tiramisu looks very tempting.

Not really happy
It’s very basic Indian recipes in it. Was really expecting something more.

Recipes to die for!
This book is truly amazing. Being a fellow Indian it gives you a good blend between western and traditional recipes that many people would shy away from due to the complexity. Hetal has really brought her/our culture to life with her twists.
