This is exactly what I was looking for. The music teacher who wrote the bad review about this book greatly help me made the decision about if this is the one I was looking for :). The pieces are easy to practice for any beginner to intermediate pianist, but not easy for the kids who doesn't know anything about notes or who can only play pieces that are in C major.I can't think of a Disney song without syncopation. If the author was trying to make the book so easy that he/she removes the syncopation, I'm sure the music teachers would have a hard time teaching those kids, because all of them would say "That's not the way the music play"."Beauty and the Beast", "Bare Necessity", "Be my Guest", "Can You Feel the Love Tonight". and so on. All of those songs have syncopation and that is one of the reason they are so beautiful in people's ear. This one is my 4th Disney piano books and it's easier to practice. I use the other ones only if I want to challenge myself with some difficult pieces. But if I want to learn some pieces fast, this one is the one I'll ever use.

As Expected
I am a music teacher, and most of my young students love the Disney music. Unfortunately, regardless of the label "easy", Disney seems to always insist on keying their songs with flats and sharps, syncopated rhythm, and too-often mid-song key changes. I've used the Disney books for students of piano, as well as violin, and the same issues apply. What is so difficult about making a piano book with songs in the key of C, or maybe even occasionally G or F....? Would it be asking too much to simplify that syncopation so that measures could be easily read by beginners?? Must a violin book include flatted keys?? Sure, we all love the originals-- jazzy rhythm, full orchestration..... but please give the wee ones a fighting chance at success in their early training.

Advanced Beginner to Intermediate
Buy with caution the word "easy" is subjective with sheet music. The hardest key signature is 3 flats the key of E-flat. Some songs could be played by a 2/3 year student. (Faber Level 3A minimum)The hardest note is a dotted eight, but there is a lot of ties and accidentals. Most of the songs sit in the Mezzo-Soprano to Soprano range. The accompaniment is pretty simplistic for performances. This also had the guitar notation and graph.Full list of songs; Baby Mine, Ballad of Davy Crockett, The Bare Necessities, Belle Notte, Best of Friends, Bobbidi-Bobbidi-Boo, Candle On The Water, Casey Junior, Chim Chim Cher-ee, Cruella DeVil, Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes, Everybody Wants To Be A Cat, Feed The Birds, Following The Leader, Give A Little Whistle, He's A Tramp, Heigh Ho, Hi-Diddle-Dee-Dee, I Wanna Be Like You, I Wonder, I've Got No Strings, It's A Small World, Jolly Holiday, Kiss The Girl, Lavendar Blue, Let's Go Fly A Kite, Little April Shower, Love Is A Song, Mickey Mouse Alma Mater, Mickey Mouse March, Once Upon A Dream, One Song, Part of Your World, Saludos Amigos, Second Star To The Right, Siamese Cat Song, So This Is Love, Some Day My Prince Will Come, Someone's Waiting For You, Spoonful of Sugar, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, Tiki Tiki Tiki Room, Under The Sea, When I See An Elephant Fly, When You Wish Upon A Star, Whistle While You Work, Who's Afraid Of The Bog Bad Wolf?, Winnie The Pooh, With A Smile And A Song, The Work Song, Yo Ho (A Pirates Life For Me), You Can Fly! You Can Fly!, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah, Zorro Theme.

NOT an Easy book
The book is much bigger than I expected. The problem is, my daughter can't play any of the songs. Not sure if it's in the wrong key or what, but I purposely ordered an EASY piano book and she can't play a single song. Basically just wanted the money I paid for this book because it is the actually easy or in the right key or whatever. I should've read the reviews first, but I just went for it I guess. Really disappointing.

Starting to play with the left hand too!
I think its good for diffrent ranges of beginners. Some songs seemed a bit too hard for where I am, while others seemed do-a-ble which is good because it leaves room to improve. Still it would be cool if the difficulty of each song was marked, since the first song in the book seemed a bit too challenging for me, and I sort of dont know what I'm doing. It looks like 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight',' Feed The Birds' and 'Bear Necessitates' and a couple others are around my play range. Had the book for about a week and im slowly working my way through the first page of. 'Can You Feel The Love' I have no idea what level I am. Ive taken a very few college keyboard classes and tried to self teach on and off through the years, But this is the first song I have found that I am able to slowly work in my left hand for the first time without it being too hard and me giving up. The first adjoining bass clef note is marked above the first trebble clef note in every measure which is pretty cool and helpful, and makes it feel less overwhelming and makes it simple and easy to slowly add in the left hand this way which was my goal in trying to take the next step in learning, but I was having a hard time as everything that I sought out seemed too hard, untill this book came along.

Fun & light
Simple compositions that bring a smile to listeners. Adult & children alike. Again, these are not overly detailed pieces. Just the bare bones.

I love it!
I am an adult who started learning piano on my own about a year ago. I had Alfred's piano book but honestly I don't recognize most of the songs and I got frustrated and bored so I decided to look for a book with songs that I know.I am big Disney fan and was very happy when I found this book. I absolutely love it!! the level is about right for me, some are easy and some are more challenging. There are so many songs that I love from my favorite movies which makes it more fun for me to practice. Definitely recommend it

I wonder whether the author actually knows the Disney songs well..
I m pretty disappointed. The songs I only know a little, I barely recognize them, the ones I know, I m certain that there are quite a bit of wrong notes. I ve tried at least one third of the songs, and there is not a single one that is nice from beginning to end. If I m actually going to use this book, there will be plenty of white out and corrections in it. If you know music and the Disney songs well, don t buy it. If you don t, you can practice reading notes with it, but that s about it. You will certainly learn the wrong tune for the Disney Songs.

Great songs, not very easy but learnable.
This book is incredible. I love the songs and am slowly trying to learn to play them. I learnt to play as a child and have recently taken up playing again as an adult but seem to have forgotten everything. The songs are not exactly easy for me but I think that may just be because I was never that good and am now very rusty!
