Very nice kit. My first one. Instructions very clear and easy to understand. Everything in the kit seems to be high quality. If looking to try your luck at cultivating mushrooms, I would recommend this kit.

Great service! Received my kit in less time than indicated on the due by date. I also like the fact that this kit includes everything you need to begin growing your mushrooms except for the spores of course. It comes with clear step by step illustrated instructions on how to grow from the beginning to the fruiting stage. It also has instructions to convert your kit to bulk growing. It contains links to videos demonstrating steps needed to successful growth. Very easy so far. One thing I need to always remember is to sterilize at all times. I did follow every single step but forgot to sterilize the bins used for the heated aquarium. I feel that it's going to be ok. It's been two weeks now since I inoculated my jars and the Mycelial is growing pretty fast and looks healthy. I almost forgot to mentioned that I love the fact that the jars comes already sterilized and ready for use. I posted pictures of 7 of my 12 jars with mycelium growth for your view! I definitely would recommend this kit to any new and advance grower. It takes the guess work out of your way to begin growing your delicious mushrooms. UPDATE: This is an update on how my mushrooms turned out. To begin with I feel that the air hose itself is not enough air for air flow. The air that comes thrue it cant hardly be felt with bare hands. My mushrooms grew small and and not a lot. There where 12 cakes and not all the cakes produce something. Out of the 12 maybe 3 worked. There was some pins that never grew. Only got 10 grams from all of thes. I blame it most on the air exchange and air flow. I had to keep taking the lid off and fanning it when I could considering I have a full time job that does not allow me to be home all day. I also strongly believe the bin (Growing Chamber needs to be drilled with holes for air flow. I was not impressed with the results and next time I will do it differently.

I started with my jars, out of the 12 only one failed to colonize and went bad. The other 11 went flawlessly. I’m currently fruiting my mushrooms, the only complaint so far is the the battery powered grow light was missing. But i didn’t realize this until months after the fact so double check when you get everything if you are going to wait to set up your fruiting container. Otherwise they sourced everything and sent two free instruction kits that were decent grow books for beginners if you don’t know what your doing, and did the small modification to the chamber for you. It is worth the money and I’d highly recommend.

Update, after removing the water heater from the water and tinkering with it, I was able to get it to work, unfortunately I had already purchased another unit but no biggie! Everything else worked out perfectly, no contam when using a SAB. Water heater does not work out of the box, as other purchasers have recognized in their reviews. I just set the kit up today and am hopeful everything else works as expected. Packaging seemed good, instructions are on point, and other than the water heater all parts seemingly function accordingly.

All lids were completely opened when arrived.. Ok so to be absolutely clear, the kit is great.... it has everything you need for a first grow. The reason for the low review is because out of 12 jars I have only four that have not grown mold or had something growing in it and thats from what I can see. Two of my fully colonized jars when opened had black mold where the vermiculite was. Ofcourse as soon as it hit open air the bacteria spread.... only worth it for the kit itself not for the jars to grow in.

Ours arrived in great condition and came with everything that the book (PMB) i purchased on mycology practices recommends for basic cultivation of various fungi...of coarse over more advanced studies one would most likely combine other products to have better yeilds and what not....overall the best starter kit out there in my opinion after researching a lot... I'm not the type to spend $$$ on grow "kits" but this time it took alot of stress out of something I'd like to simply enjoy as a hobby because I basically have zero knowledge of this hobby going in 🤍 happy growing everyone!!! & stay lifted!

I felt i could have done better .but I get it .

I'm currently using this kit and getting more mushrooms than I'll ever be able to use. I really like the kit but it really is overkill for single person with only a couple mushroom eating friends. Using the kit was fun; a little challenging the first time, but using it again will be very easy. One timer plug was included and I added a second one so that temp, air, and light were all automated. I'm curious whether my yield would have been smaller if I didn't have this good control of conditions. The main lack of this kit is anything to facilitate drying your mushrooms.
