Resch delivers again!
Resch really delivered with the creation of this teen-focused IE workbook!Teens are different from adults in so many ways, thus a workbook catered to their unique needs and concerns and lived experiences is such a helpful tool. The workbook is broken up into ten chapters with multiple short reading segments and activities housed within each chapter. If you work with adolescents, this workbook is a must! I have used it with a number of teen clients now and each has reported its usefulness to me. Additionally, you can go to the publisher’s website to download activities to print out for clients. I’m grateful for this resource.

Very helpful
This was the first workbook my counselor recommended to me in college when I first sought help for disordered eating. It is geared more towards younger teens, but the simplistic layout and exercises helped me begin to understand intuitive eating. I recommend also reading the book by the same authors for a more in-depth, advanced understanding.

Finally, sane voice in the craziness!
This book is not only for teens, the principles of Intuitive Eating can help whole families unlearn all of the awful diet-culture programming that is so pervasive in our media and society (even pediatricians can have body and weight biases which can be harmful to kids), and is so incredibly damaging to physical and mental health. I have been an intuitive eater for about 3 years, and as a mental health professional in training, I have long awaited a book for teenagers. Resch's Intuitive Eating Workbook for Teens provides evidence-based information in an easy to understand (without talking down) format to help teens find a peaceful relationship with food, eating, and their bodies no matter what their size or shape.

Must-read for teens trying to navigate our diet-crazed society!
Easy-to-read, practical, insightful and encouraging! As a mom and as a registered dietitian who has seen the trap that a diet-obsessed culture can create on both a personal and professional level, I am grateful to have a resource that I can recommend without any hesitation. Every chapter has a list of activities that the teen readers can choose to do, at their own pace. Elyse Resch's compassionate, encouraging wisdom reflects the same life-changing principles of her first publication, Intuitive Eating, and is designed to help this next generation learn to listen to their own body's wisdom and rediscover a new relationship with food. Thank you, Elyse!!!!

Invaluable resource for people of all ages!
"Where was this workbook when I was growing up?"...I have heard that numerous times from clients I work with. This workbook is invaluable for people of all ages. It is user-friendly and well thought-out. The questions and reflections are very helpful in making the reader integrate this important information. Whether you are young or old, this workbook will help you become forever free from negative food and body thoughts.

A great resource for teens! It is written to speak to this age group beautifully and gives amazing activities for young people to get curious about rejecting diet culture and living a free life. I wish I had this years ago and will use it in my practice! -Ashley Munro RDN, CDE, Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor
