AIRCAT 1058-VXL 1/2" Drive Compact Impact Wrench

i have been using aircat impacts at my job for years and this little guy fits into spaces that a full size will not and it has all the power you need i recommend them to anyone looking for an impact - price wise you cant beat them snap on -mac - matco would charge at lest three times the price for something this good

I have used this several times once it arrived and I have to say that its size, power, and ergonomics makes this one or maybe the best small air impacts. imo. The only nit is the small level. But with a 3 year warranty an superb customer service (they answered my question on CFM consumption in 1 hour) I am totally satisfied with the unit. The noise is considerably and noticeable;e lower that traditional air impacts. You have too remember that working in a small garage any equipment is intensified and more obvious. The wobble is almost nothing which is nice when you consider you can one hand operation for upper shock mounts, engine mounts, under carriage suspension, etc. Awesome!

I got into the brand because the senior tech I used to work with had the 1250 model and I loved it I bought this gun for those tight spaces and boy did it come in handy! It managed to back a crankshaft bolt off a 2017 Mer/Benz Amg gts I was working on. It took a couple of uggah duggas but to my surprise the little thing broke the bolt free! I could of definitely done it with a full size impact sure but would of needed to rip off the whole front end just to create space for the tool to fit. This guys weasel his way in and got the job done!

It works. I miss ordered but it will remove about 250-300 ft on the daily. Have a high airflow swivel on 90psi at work. Sockets used mainly. 1 and 1/4. And 15/16. No issues.

So I've read some reviews where they complain that this doesn't live up to the advertised torque. My problem is not that it doesn't have anough torque. I barley touch the trigger and I've over torqued a wheel lug nut. I've had zero issues taking lugs off of SUV's and standard cars. I purchased this specifically for tight spaces, but I've found I'm using it more than expected due to its weight. Awesome little tool, I'd but it again.

I have had this for for a little over 1.5 years and it never put out the TQ is promised it could. Its worked great until recently, it will randomly stop, ill have to pull it away and spin it up a couple times to get it working again. I oil it almost daily. I expected it to last longer. For the price, i will be going with IR again.

Quickly sum this up. This is a disposable impact. Will kick but for a year, if your lucky, then it will sieze up and just blow air out like all the others. But for the price if it last a year of everyday abuse then so be it. On my second one as of now. Last one lasted 11 months will send out for warranty but had to buy another for back up. But on the market the best lil stubby there is for the price. Would I recommend to a friend..Yes with caution. But i would.

This impact looks pretty impressive out of the box, but from there on it loses it's luster. It reminded me of the 1057TH. I have owned a lot of impacts in 30+ years of auto service and this impact fails to meet my minimum expectations. It struggled to remove minivan lug nuts, much less suspension parts. My 1055T was going out again, so with all the good reviews and not being able to find another one reasonably priced, I tried this one. One use and I was starting the return process. The 1055TH is the one you want, but unfortunately it is no longer made and rare to find. It packs a punch in tight spaces, but fails to last more than about a year at best with steady use.

Works well in tight spaces. Well thought out, you can go from forward to reverse with a flick of your thumb. Easy control trigger to prevent snapping bolts. Has lots of power 550 FP at 90 PSI. 750 FP at 120 PSI. Very little vibration. This is the 3rd type of Air Cat impact wrench I have purcased and can't be more pleased with every product I have bought. Well worth the money.

This is the best impact I have ever got. I had a lot of problems with the 1/2 inch regular size one and had to return it twice. This stubby one has a good amount of power and ive never had an issue with it. I used this on heavy duty trucks before and can surprisingly get most smaller or mid size bolts and nuts off.

After 2 months using, I can say, it is very nice one. Light weight, quite and powerful.
