Excellent magnets
Triple glazing: Good magnetic grip. Cleaned the windows up and down stairs. Good quality item. Magnets very strong.

This works, if you use it properly.
This product works - We live on the 4th floor, and our double glazing is approx 30mm (1”) thick from face to face. I purchased the adjustable green handled version and it does a decent job without me having to hang out the window at all. This tool is not an applicator, it acts as a squeegee and a polisher. That’s it.Once one has given the outside of the window a good sud, this tool does very well at wiping the dirty water off using a regular S pattern. It is then ready for polishing using Your preferred cleaner. It is important to wet both sides of the window, otherwise you will find it judders and the outside part will probably drop off.It is not a perfect product: it is fairly expensive, but that is the cost of the magnets I assume, they need adjustment to get appropriate friction on the pane. Also, sometimes the outside squeegee lags behind a little, but, hey, that’s physics. Also it doesn’t get right in to the corners.I highly recommend this product. Used with care, it solves the issue of how to clean your windows when you are a few floors up.

Strong magnetic window cleaner
As described, I had a lightweight version that did not work on double glazing but this model has strong magnets and works well

If it sounds to good to be true it usually is.
As a pensioner that has had a heart attack ladders are out. I was impressed by other reviews and spent the top money to get the best. I found using this device tedious and almost impossible to clean the windows with. The magnets (adjustable) I played around with to get them to stick together, were either too strong or too weak with the outside magnet falling off all the time. keeping the window sufficiently wet (lubricated) was a nightmare and my arms ached after a while. I had such high hopes for this device but have had to return after three days. I will be purchasing a good quality jet and brush cleaner, the windows are filthy and must somehow be cleaned. I leave it up to you to decide whether to buy or not.

Only partially effective
This is about the only product out there that I could find to clean the 32mm glazing in my 8th floor flat, but… the outer bit drops a lot. With 32mm, you basically need the maximum magnet strength setting, but every time the other side drops off, it’s a bit heart-attack inducing, even with the safety cord. Don’t expect to get things all that clean, but it will get off the bulk of the dirt.Next, the cloths. These are a bit rubbish. The device comes with 2 thin cloths that Velcro to the two shorter sides. What that means is that when you move this from side to side, the cloth gets bunched up and loses contact with the window. It also exposes the corners, which have scratched the surface of the glass on the inside. They also don’t hold much water so you’ll be constantly needing to pull the outside bit in so you’ll can wet it again. Finally, the cost. £90 for this is utterly ridiculous if you ask me. Also, the best part of £20 for 4 spare cloths is daylight robbery. It got the worst of the dust off the outside of the windows so at least I can see out through glass that’s only smeared, but it was at some considerable cost and effort.

It works, but can be a bit of workout!
So bough this to use on upstair Velux windows which are at angle. Have tried other methods before, but the D4 has definitely been the only product that has helped clean the outside of the window at the same time, which I would normally never be able to effectively reach and clean properly. For the gliding to be easy you do need to put liquid on both sides of the window, sometimes this isn't ideal if the window is on top of you/ on the roof, but to get around dripping cleaner on me, I used the the microfibre cloth on the inside and cleaner on the outside. The magnets are very strong, so need to use them with care, they can separated if they come together (support were very helpful) , the magnets can also end up magnetising other metals near by, so need to watch out for that. One of the dials was faulty on mine after a single use, but again Customer Support have been great with prompt responses and will be sending a me a replacement.I do think it is a tad expensive, but it does get the job done!

Great bit of kit
We live in a 2nd floor apartment, with window cleaning services that are really not good. Was sceptical about this but have to say that after a few trial runs and accidents it's a nifty bit of kit and quite easy to use. I use a spray window cleaner which works well and leaves virtually no streaks and have found that I don't really need to use the cloth. You have to be careful with the magnets, very powerful, which for cleaning is essential but if the green spacer would stay in place it would be much easier to unite the two magnet bars.

Unstable for thick windows
doesn't settle perfectly for a 4mm double window, but the cleaning s is good. One point is the small super towels I wish they had provided a few more because they get dirty real quick and don't get washed easily
