VIV Collection High Waisted Yoga Waistband Solid Leggings Brushed Ultra Soft 1

I got green large and they fit good. Capri short tho, I didn't really realize this until I got them.

This is my third time purchasing these leggings because I absolutely LOVE them. I prefer them over Lularoe or any of the high dollar brands out there. I always get the solid black. They are beyond comfy, flattering and good quality. I have had problems with getting holes in the crotch of the pants but this is probably because I literally wear them every day so the all wearing and washing is bound to have some negative effects on the fabric. I have never had a problem with the dye running until my last purchase. I wore a pair without washing them first and noticed that they were turning my legs black. I was skeptical to wash them with my other clothes so I threw them in with a load of towels (because I really don't care about my towels). Well, they turned my white towels gray (again, not a big deal to me). I have washed them 3-4 times now and the dye is still running with every wash. So a word of caution, do not wash these leggings with anything you care about because the color will run!! Other than that, these are great leggings and I will continue to buy for my whole life unless I stumble across something better!!

Look, it absolutely kills me to give these a 3 star rating. I have been buying these for a few years now and, depending on the type I get, I love them. Like an I-would-live in-these-things-forever love. Here is where they differ.If you get the leggings or capris with the hidden pocket, these are the best. They do have a bit of elastic in the top of the pant, but while it isn't a 100% true yoga waist, it doesn't affect the comfort. If you look at the photos I've included, this one is on the left. The top is sewn nicely, elastic lays well, all is good. These are the ones I've been searching for and I wear them way more than any other article of clothing that I own. Theses are very flattering and helps hide the fact that I still can't get rid of the pooch I acquired from my pregnancies. This variety is a solid 5 stars.If you get the leggings or capris with no pocket, you get the one on the right in the photo. The elastic is not sewn in nicely. When I tried these, the top elastic dug in more and did not look nearly as flattering as the variety with the hidden pocket. I very much dislike these. They frustrate me and I can wear them for a few minutes before I tear them off and angrily yeet them as far from myself as possible. They are still soft though. I'd give these a 1.5, maybe a 2 on a good day.The main issue here is, I feel like we've had to start to hunt for the legging WITH a hidden pocket. There are a few on here that now specify "No Pocket" which would be great if those were the only one without pockets on this listing. In my last order, I picked up a pair of charcoal legging, charcoal capris and navy capris, because summer. The navy aren't here yet, but none of these specified "No Pocket", it is something I recheck multiple times before ordering. Both of the charcoals came and I opened them this morning. The full leggings had my much coveted pocket while the capris did not. I ordered these exact capris last summer and they had a pocket then. Had I known that would disappear, I would have stocked up. I'm sending the charcoal capris back, hopefully the navy will come as expected. (And if they do, I will pick up extra) If this was an error and the capris are still supposed to have a pocket, I would very much welcome the company to contact me.I will add a quick update when the navy get here, in case anyone is curious.EDIT: The navy capris did not have a pocket either.

Tl;dr- I love them, but I don't love panty-lines. The two pack I bought in 2020 had a black pair that looked like they had been worn, washed, and returned.(For reference: I'm 5'7", ~150, usually a size 10-12, depending, ordered a Medium in charcoal)I'm no stranger to VIV Collection leggings. I own four pairs of their regular leggings and they're fabulous.I like these leggings with their yoga waistband. They're soft and provide a nice silhouette because they sit at my natural waist and don't bunch or pinch anywhere. I don't have any sort of muffintop with them, so I'm very satisfied on that front. I don't know much about the pocket, other than that it is about the size of my hand. It might fit a phone or cards, but it might be slightly awkward to pull up your top to fish anything that's in there out, so I can't attest to how practical it is. But these are super comfy and I've worn them around my house and out under a dress. I don't ever want to not wear them.I did have to take off a star because I ordered a Medium and I have very noticeable (to me) panty-lines. I don't recall having panty-line issues with the other leggings I've ordered from VIV. The leggings remaine opaque, so I don't believe it's just because my conventional size is toward the upper limit of the medium. I'm going to order a size Large and will update my review with the results.In all, these are really, really nice leggings with a really comfy waistband and they fit really well. I wish they had patterns in this waistband style, but we'll have to see what happens.Edit:I've bought these in a Large in Black and the panty-line issue is resolved; however, I keep having to pull them up. They're still really comfy, but my review is holding at four stars.Edit 2020:I needed more leggings because reasons and I, of course, went for Viv Collection because I'm familiar with their sizing. I bought a set of two in grey and black in their one size and the black did not come with a pocket and looked like they had been washed when I unpacked them. I washed them and didn't notice the lack of pocket until I was getting dressed today. I truthfully don't find the pocket that helpful, but I thought it was odd that it wasn't there in that pair, but it's in the other from the same package.

I really like these! I had to squeeze myself into them, but once I was in. . . I loved the way they looked! Probably needed a size up but these worked just fine. I’d say they run a little small. They are not sheer at all, you don’t need to wear anything under them, which is nice. They are lined with soft flannel which I thought might be hot, but it really wasn’t. Just enough stretch to allow you to move freely. Really happy with these leggings.
