Good drill
We have lots of einhell products and batteries and they have all proved themselves well designed, built and at very reasonable prices. My lower power 35nm einhell drill is great for basic stuff but on building projects involving masonary and metal drilling I find myself getting our old mains drill out, saw this at a bargain price and it is great, plenty powerful enough, heavier obviously.Feels good in the hand, the extension bar is useful with the extra power.

Cordless, Brushless Hammer/Impact Drill
There are various models of this Drill, this version is TE-CD18 Li-i. As such this is the 60Nm torque version which is the most powerful version. It has two gear speeds (1) 0-500 and (2) 0-1800 which is for masonry drilling. It comes with a charger and two batteries 18v 2Ah. It has an Electronic Torque control, a weak led work light, a side handle and belt clip. The case is reasonable quality and includes a rather useless manual that provides next to no useful information. The keyless chuck just twists to insert drills and a direction control switch on the main body. It is quite heavy drill so using the Side Bar is recommended. Trigger controls the speed. The brushless motor means that it should not overload to easily in use and last longer overall. The Supplied batteries charge very quickly in less than an hour each. It comes with just the case, manual, side bar, charger and two batteries, there are no supplied drill bits or screwdrivers. So I suggest you buy a set of Makita drill bits which offer excellent quality and value. The Einhell can accept a 13mm maximum drill bit size. It doesn't have a depth guage, however there are various drill bit depth guages which are a cheap and handy purchase if you are drilling walls.etc.Einhell are an old German Brand, although the drill itself is made in China, I believe only Milwaukee make theirs in America. It comes with a 2 year warranty and if you register I believe this goes to 3 years. For home DIY it should prove to be a solid purchase and better than the cheap Chinese brand clones. I have used it on Masonry for putting up shelves etc and it works well provided you remember to use the 2nd gear setting as 1st gear is for soft wood, tightening screw etc.

Superb drill great quality and powerful
This drill is superb and very well made and powerful enough for drilling, screwing and with hammer action for working on bricks and mortar. The battery life button with the three led lights lets you know when the battery needs charging. Having the extra battery was ideal so I could finish the job without waiting for battery to be fully charged. Perfect size and weight allows you to put screws into wood without feeling your hand will drop. The chuck is easy to use and allowed me to swap from a drill bit to a screw bit one handed.

Good value
The drill works very well, it has plenty of power and is great value. I prefer to use it without the support handle but either way, it is working great

Excellent *****
Straight out of the box this drill oozes quality. Nice in the hand. The motor gives you confidence of a well built machine. I had three different drills in the basket and this had the most nm but the side handle is what helped me choose this one. Having a side handle when drilling into masonry makes the drilling easier and gives you more control. A five-star product and definitely as another reviewer said, it's like Christmas morning as a kid when opening the box, absolutely love this drill.

Spot on!
I'm a little premature with this review 'cos I haven't tested the drill yet but I was so amazed by the delivery time that I thought I'd do an 'unpacking' review like they do on Youtube, etc. I ordered it at 10.30 am & it was delivered at 7.30 pm The Same Day! It was well packed for protection. The plastic case is proper toolbox tough - not airblown polystyrene - with proper clip fasteners. The drill has good weight & feels much more robust than a Diy level drill. Before buying it I compared prices & specs. With most of the well known Brand names. There were no others that could provide 60nm,brushless motor,2x2maH batteries at anywhere near the £110 I paid for this. Both batteries had some charge in them so I know the drill runs Ok. It feels powerful & growls along nicely. It's a Birthday gift for my son to carry out work in his garage which is around 80 meters from his house - too far for an extension lead. Based on having used & owned many brands of drills over my 50 yrs. working life I feel confident that this drill can carry out any task he might ask of it - & I may treat myself to one!
