KitchenCraft Living Nostalgia Enamel Self-Basting Roaster with Lid, White/Grey, 33.5 x 24 x 14.5 cm

I had to reorder, the first on arrived with a little chip. I use mine to season meats.

I bought this oval roaster to use for baking my sourdough bread in. My previous roaster was not deep enough so the bread would hit the lid while baking and end up with a flat top. This pan is 5 inches/ 13cm tall so is perfect for me. It is very solidly built, and a little heavier than my other pan. My only criticism of it would be that the handle on the lid is a little small and difficult to grab with oven gloves on. (Thus I gave it 4 stars) Other than that, I am very happy with it. It is exactly the measurements advertised. (I saw another review saying it was not, which I do not understand).

My only complaint is my own fault but check out all the information. Especially the size. My mom sent her Christmas list to me and this was on it. She thought by the pictures that it was a larger size roaster but it is small. Shout out to their customer service they are very nice and helpful I would give them a 5 if I rated service.

I don't know why there are negative reviews. You just need to treat this as a closed casserole type dish, definitely not as a roasting tray without liquid, as of course items will stick if mostly dry. This is perfect for small casseroles, and is the only thing I use it for. Even if things get a bit charred around the top edges, if you soak with a bit of washing up liquid for an hour or so, everything wipes away, perfectly. I have several KitchenCraft items, and all are great. I would just like to have a roasting tray around 36 x 36 by 7cm, as these would be perfect for lamb chops in the oven, which is my husband's favourite in the winter months, otherwise he prefers the BBQ grill.

Cooking meat in its perfect

Always had these in various sizes, and this is a good modern version. Important to note that it has a low lid handle, so that you can get it into your oven without needing to set your shelf too low, and the side handles are offset, so it takes up less space for storage. The 33.5 x 24 x 14.5 is JUST tall enough to contain a family chicken (though it touches the inside of the lid). By that, I mean that anything under 2kg won't make contact, but a 2 kg and above chicken will, though it doesn't matter. If it bothers you, put a little olive oil on the inside of the lid so it doesn't stick!I should say that no matter how much you wash them, the white version will mark as it get used. It doesn't detract from anything; I kind of like them to have that time-worn look! All in all a great roasting pan.
