This is great veiner and is sturdy to use and p,attic is tough that it won’t break in a hurry. A quality product from Katy Sue and Nicholas Lodge

Super quality as always from Katy Sue. I use this for polymer clay projects BUT the mould is very shallow - it is such a difficult mould to use - excellent results on the clay- but each leaf takes soooooooo long to do ... I am not the most patient person ! In fact I have made my own mould from the leaves I have made successfully - and have made it a bit deeper - this makes my life so so much easier.However, I cannot fault the original product - as I said great quality.

This embossing mat was perfect for a cake I was baking and looks much more realistic than some of the cheaper garishly-coloured silicone moulds. I have found the cheaper moulds are too soft and lose definition but this one is definitely made from better quality stuff. It's a little pricey for a one-off but as cakes are my business I will definitely be using this again. If you're going for the full tree-trunk, I recommend the Large Log Slice Veiner, also by Katy Sue. A word of caution - if using a softer fondant, as I was, ensure you dust the mould first with icing sugar.

Very strong and the only one I have seen and used which allows space for the wire to be inserted before veining, would definitely recommend it
