Tanach: Stone Edition , Pocket Size (ArtScroll (Mesorah)) Paperback – August 23, 2010

Easy to carry in bag.

I was surprised at how small this book actually is. It is a great way to carry the majority of Jewish text with you.

I am very happy with my pocket size Tanach. The only issue that I have is that the description should say, pocket book size Tanach. The references are great. The print is small, but not too small. I guess the only other thing that I have to say about it is that I wish that this translation matched the earlier version more closely. I don't know why there was a change. The authors stated that it was because they were trying to convey the message that the Hebrew states more clearly in English, which can be hard to do just using one word to define something that in Hebrew has one word meaning about nine things.

I enjoy reading the Tanach a lot, and enjoy having it in the format with Hebrew on the right and English on the left. I am not able to read Hebrew, but hope one day to be able to study it.I would recommend this edition to anyone who wants to read the Tanach prayerfully and carefully.

What a beautiful piece of work! This was my first time purchasing a Tanach and I purchased two of the pocket size. I wanted a paperback with both Hebrew/English. The Artscroll is truly impressive, but the font size is literally so tiny I can not enjoyably read through the book and this is the only reason I did not give five stars. Even with my reading glasses on it is still too tiny to see. I will have to purchase a full size now and sadly can't use the two pocket sized version I purchased. I wish the full sizes were available in paperback.

I had the hardback student size of the stone edition given to me about 5 months ago. Since then my brother in law started wanting one, so I bought 2... one for him and another for me so that my wife and I both would be able to read the torah portions for the week from the same book, it does seem to be the same as the bigger version, only much smaller print. Very pleased with the product, but for longer reading times I would recommend the bigger version as it is easier on the eyes.

this is the true Torah Jews love of course. this size is great for taking along. I sit in our parks and read it. In coffee houses. or just sitting on our deck.
