Big rig sound in a small footprint
After reading the lower star reviews and complaints about low tones and it not being loud enough, I felt the need to weigh in. I had purchased 2 of these horns, one for my wife and one for myself.I purchased the first one for my wife as a Christmas gift for her Murano, as the factory horn wasn't very loud at all. I wired it up along with the factory horns (to retain the chirp when using the remote to lock and unlock the car). All 3 horns (the 2 factory and the Wolo) work together without issue. The only thing I had to do was swap the 15 amp horn fuse for a 20 and everything was set. After hearing it several times, I knew I needed it for my car.I commute 5 days a week, 25 miles each way to and from work. I have had many near misses with people who don't know how to drive, shouldn't be driving, don't check blind spots, and generally either signal as they are changing lanes or just drift without a signal. That was motivation enough to get a dashcam (that's a review for another time) as well as a louder horn. I installed the same one in my Impala along with the factory GM horns and had the same results. Nice and loud, noticeable to the moron drivers. This horn has prevented more than it's fair share of accidents. Swapped the 15 amp horn fuse for the 20 amp, and have had no issues.I'm not sure if the other reviews got a defective product, aren't as savvy as they thought they were in wiring it up, or just wanted to feel important showing off their highly tuned ears in describing the sound frequency produced. This horn is by no means loud like a train horn or a dedicated air horn similar to what actual big rigs are equipped with, but it is plenty loud when installed properly and produces a good, deep, authoritative sound. Would highly recommend this product. Would also recommend installing it with someone that knows what they are doing so as not to create a bunch of whiny low star reviews due to lack of proper installation.

Definitely gets attention, but not for the volume
After about a week of use, I have decided to change my review from 3 stars to 1 star. I have left the original review below in quotes.Even after giving the horn a direct power source from the battery using fuse and relay, the horn still has major issues. If it gets hot (as tends to happen in an engine compartment) the horn no longer "honks" as much as whistles. It sounds like a goose with laryngitis. I have even tried moving it to a place in the engine compartment as far away from the motor and radiator as possible with minimal help in the issue. I had to reconnect the secondary horn of my Toyota Highlander to make sure I had a working horn at all times, and the secondary horn is LOUDER than this "extreme volume" horn. I am extremely disappointed in this item."I am a rural route mail courier. I purchased this because numerous people have told me "I'm sorry, I didn't hear you!" Even after honking my factory horn numerous times. This is dangerous since I have had many people let dogs out as I am walking a package to their door.I am a little disappointed with the volume of this horn, as it is no louder than my factory horn setup on my 2005 Toyota Highlander. With that being said, the tone of it is definitely attention getting.Outside it sounds like a semi blowing it's horn (although not as loud). Inside a house it sounds like someone blaring on an oboe. Either way it garnishes attention.I would give this 3 1/2 stars if possible, but I am only giving it 3 because it is not nearly as loud as I was expecting and what is continuously advertised. If replacing a quiet factory horn on a small car or motorcycle this may have seemed different, but for replacing a horn on a larger vehicle it is a bit disappointing."

loudest subaru forester on the road, highly suggested.
installed this to my 19 subaru forester and HOLY SMOKES, its well worth every penny. from road presence to saying hi to a neighbor, this horn is amazing. easy install with a separate wolo wiring kit. people are shocked when they hear this horn. i was driving the other day and a car tried to change lanes into me, i honked, scared the construction crew on the side of the road with the blast, and the driver surely heard and corrected course. highly suggested. i wired mine to the oem switch so i hit my horn in the steering wheel and this is what you get. amazing work WOLO. this is my third WOLO product ive used and the last last two are just as good as this. one is a beacon light for the rear hatch of my subi for better emergency lights (i search / rescue in the snow) and the other is a wiring kit that was very high quality components.

Very loud. Deep tone. UPDATE - Relay needed
UPDATE: This horn uses more power than the stock factory and eventually blew the fuse. So I had to wire in the supplied relay. ...And since I had to do that anyway, I added in the original horn and used the original circuit to power both the OEM horn and activate the relay. The OEM is obviously not as loud but adds just enough tone difference to give it a really good sound.Original Comment: The title says almost all. I also purchased the Wolo model 415 dual trumpet horns. This is a lower, deeper, richer sounding tone. But it is monotone (single frequency) so I didn't like the sound as well for my RAM truck. So I used this to replace the single horn on my Saturn Sky. This thing is LOUD ... much louder than the 415 dual trumpets and much, much louder than the single stock horn. Installation was simple since I just replaced the stock horn. I had to drill a hole to mount it since it wouldn't fit where the original was. I used the stock relay so the wiring was easy. The horn is well protected where mounted so some of the reliability issues I've read in other reviews should not be an issue.

Sounds like a pickup truck horn should sound.
I like this horn. The horns on my truck went out. I was not aware that my stock horn actually had two horns . One low pitch and one high pitch. Well my low pitch horn went out leaving only the high pitch horn working. It was actually embarrassing to honk my horn. This horn has a really nice beefy sound that fits my truck very well. And it is loud .Very pleased with this horn. If upon completion of installation it does not sound right. Switch the wires around.
