Simply Beautiful: The 10 Most Beautiful Melodies Ever Written Arranged for the Intermediate Pianist

I think most advanced beginners will find this book a bit challenging. They are not "easy" and will require some patience. As I play through them, and with practice, they are quite satisfying harmonies, and Jerry Ray gives these pieces a lot of breathing room. Nothing in the right hand will make you reach more than an octave. If you are an advanced beginner, this book will challenge you. These are not all "typical" arrangements of all the pieces, but done well nonetheless. It's obvious Jerry Ray was or is a fine player.Edit: Some of these reviews are rating the hymn book for some reason. This is a book of classics. The arrangement of "Air on a G String" is worth the whole price of the book. I am currently working on "Blue Danube," one of the easier pieces in the book as well.

I played through the whole book in one sitting and really enjoyed it!

Please do not worst your money on this product. The copy was cut short as showcased in the attached files. Part of the printing is short, missing notes. I have an original copy of the same material in comparison with the useless one that was mailed to me

These are okay. Definitely questionably advanced/intermediate. My favorites to play are Fur Elise and Moonlight Sonata but these are way too easy.

The difficulty was within my range. I liked the selection of hymns for the arrangements.Time can be enlarged by playing the standard hymn before the arrangement. Mosttimes it is around 5 minutes, which is a good prelude time.

I am starting slow with this, spending a lot of time learning each piece as they are a bit challenging, but I like the compositions and I'm enjoying learning them.
