Performed Well, but not completely leak proof.

Very useful when traveling

I am a satisfied user of this solidly-made product but am frustrated with one aspect of it. . . something which has been mentioned here repeatedly. That is to say, the "screw top". This threaded piece should be an optional feature-- one that could be removed or indeed not even offered as a feature at all. Whether you're speaking of urine or of clean/soapy water it is not possible to readily drain all liquid: there inevitably will be "left-overs" that can not be removed even with a few determined circular shakes. Additionally, I have used various maneuvers during the day to try to fully drain my rinsed unit-- including storing it upside down in a heavy (and empty!) Metamucil bottle. Sadly, when evening comes, my urinal-- and then I-- still will be crying our inevitable tears...

I like the shape and size.It can hold enough of my urine overnight.The bottom of the container is wide, so I am not worried about falling down.

But... there's one small flaw.The Cap Conundrum:Let’s talk about the cap. Sure, it screws on tightly, but if the urinal tips over in your tent or car, it tends to leak. That’s because the design is missing a small but essential hero: the humble gasket. There’s a groove for it—56mm OD x 49.8mm ID x 3.1mm width, to be exact—and with a gasket in place, it’s completely spill-proof.But wait, there’s more: You don’t need to crank the cap down like you're sealing a jar of moonshine. Just a light hand-tightening will do the trick. Over-tightening risks crushing or damaging the gasket, much like any other O-ring. Let it make contact, and voilà, you're set!The "Penny-Sized" Fix:It’s baffling why the manufacturer didn’t include a gasket from the get-go. Gaskets are literal pennies to produce. Adding one would take this product from “good” to “perfection.” I mean, come on—how hard can it be to throw in one little gasket?Final Thoughts:This portable urinal is super handy for camping, travel, and medical use. Just be sure to add your own gasket (don’t worry, they’re cheap!) and avoid overtightening the cap. Once that tiny upgrade is in place, you’ll have yourself a leak-proof, hassle-free solution for all those "I need to go now" moments.Now, if the manufacturer could just spend those extra pennies for us, we'd be looking at a five-star product!

Not sure what all the review complaints are about the product leaking but i have not had a single instance where the product has leaked when SEALED PROPERLY AND THE THREADED CAP IS ALIGNED CORRECTLY WITH THE OPENING. If you take a second to feel if the cap is turning without resistance, you will see that the cap fits as designed and leaking should not occur. While acknowledging the possibility of an exceptional and occasional manufacturing oversight in the production of any mass produced item for consumer use, from my own experience this product works AS DESIGNED and I would arguable say is well thought out, especially the wide flat base to narrower top as well as the handle and mouth opening ergonomics of the design. With a bit of liquid soap and mild disinfectant the brush helps with foaming the inside and rinsing it clean. In comparing it with similar products, i recommend this one over its; competitors. Product like this are very personal in its need and use. This one was well thought out. Thank you.

Don't buy it. The cap needs an o-ring, as another reviewer has mentioned. But worse, the threads for the cap are a separate piece that does not attach securely to the container. I used silicon adhesive to attach it so it will not leak, at least for a while. Eventually the silicon will deteriorate and the cap, threads and all, will fall off. Moreover, the cap is hard to screw onto the threads without cross threading. Bad design entirely.

Just received this today, and it appears sturdy, has a screw on cap, and comes with a cleaning brush.It holds more, it’s blue and not see-thru. I have 4 blue 32oz urinals and 1 clear. All 5 caps have broken off, so I have to make sure they’re pressed on tight. The clear one came from the hospital and the other 4 from Amazon. The clear one leaks (garbage), and the other 4 can overflow. I have to pay attention to the weight.Anyway, if this one works like it says, I will buy another and refer back to this review.Yes, I’m pretty sure I recommend it!
