Except for the flimsy tool/screwdriver which did not fit well to unscrew the back...the battery and charging kit work great.

It worked when Texas Instruments failed us.
Brought a brand new TI calculator and battery was dead upon opening the box.I bought this based on reviews and it worked great. Proved that TI unethically sells expensive calculators with dead batteries and won't replace when asked.TI wanted me to return this one to Amazon after I already installed it, but no way would I do that.I would recommend this battery!

Good deal!
We bought this mainly for the battery. The charging cable was not as useful as it can only plug into the port it came with. It is not USB-C or USB-A. It’s nice that the installation tools came with it though.

Beat TI on their Own Product
Bought a TI 84 and the battery was bad out of the box. Turned out this was a known issue. Reached out to TI for warranty support. After no response after a couple of days, I came here. This has worked beautifully. Placed the order, replaced the battery in the calculator, had it charged and my student go through his first test before TI finally responded. Not pleased I had to spend the money on a new calculator, but very happy this was available and has held up.

Won’t hold a charge….second one I’ve ordered!!
This is the second one I’ve ordered & the first one would never hold a charge & then it got so it wouldn’t charge at all & it wasn’t 2 years old, my son is in med school & has to have a good calculator everyday….if this battery doesn’t hold a charge I will be going with a different company & battery all together….the one that came with it lasted all of high school & his first 2 years of college.

Battery was mostly full, easy to install. Useful kit.
Nice little kit for the calculator. The calculator started right up once we changed out the dead battery using the included keychain screwdriver. The new battery was 2/3 full, so the calculator is on the included charger overnight.
