Nice, Secure, Doggy Door
The media could not be loaded. Not too difficult to install. My husband didn’t even remove the patio door we put it in. It took about 2 hours. The doggie door is wonderful for our 55 lb GSP. I wish we’d bought it 2 years ago! It closes securely after he goes in/out. It will make a little noise from the double flaps. Nevertheless, those flaps keep the air, Texas heat, and elements from the outside out, and our ac in!The cover is great and easy to put on when the whole family leaves.

Works on my RV door
This dog door was able to be installed on my RV door. We did have to remove our screen door, but I bought a velcro mesh screen in place of it. The dog door is well insulated with the 3 flaps and it reseals nicely when the pups go in and out. I'm very happy with it.

Works well but very fickle to install...
Great product in general and once installed (I got the plastic version) due to reduced heat transfer, AZ 110+ outside in summer insulation might help...so it comes with 3 flaps, plastic screws 8×32 3" which I replaced with real ones as you can see. Plastic makes sense due to different thickness of each door but...metal screws are better of course. That being said the inner liner was easy to cut, instructions are provided and I didn't remove my door during install...cut out the recommended piece and be aware that screws are not necessarily meant to go through door but are simply on inside the cut open space. You could possible cut lesser area and drill holes but it works with the open hole.No need for pro installation, took me 40 min maybe...lining them up, getting the screws in is fickle work and I then used silicone to close gaps on top.I placed mine above left door panel (thinner and easier to cut out) edges of large version (I used here) are just wide enough to be on thicker door frame...Enjoy. Dogs love it and works well, once installed ;)Also the closure fits over it but only plastic and not too secure, no slider, just a snap on...place a metal brace over it from inside for those vacation days might improve security slightly if no one is home...as small child could potentially crawl through...

Hold up to lots traffic from the babies
I have 6 boxers. This door held up to their wear and tear and kept the cold / hot air out. Highly recommend for multi pet owners

Should have bought it years ago
This has been a great doggy door. Even with the weather flap, we still get cool air blowing in. This is to be expected though, because it still needs to allow your dogs to pass through without to much resistance. We've only had it for a few months, but its holding up well. Only time will tell if that holds to be true, but so far, so good.

Well worth the monet.
I teally like this doggie door. Its 3 flaps so it helps keep the eeather out better than a single flap

Takes a while to install
I’m handy and this still takes a while to install. I had to take the doors off to get my dogs and cats used to it. I have it in the garage door. It was easy to add a door back on.

Plastic cover is not very secure
This dog door works fine for my German Shepherd. But, the plastic cover to keep the dog from going out could use improvement. The dog door I had before had a sliding metal panel that worked really well to keep the dog in our out, and also secured the door against intruders. Someone would have had to make a lot of noise to get through the pet door. This has a simple plastic cap that snaps on. If someone wants to come through my garage door it won't take them long.
