Does what is intended. This IS two pieces of foam padding . A thick piece to go into the bottom of the briefcase and a thin top piece for the lid. The thin piece is about 1/5 the thickness of the thicker piece.Padding is not precut, you would need to cut it to size yourself.

I made a clean cutout for my AR-15, but the removed bits didn’t taste so great.

Came on time and fit the case perfectly. My Nikon D200 is a snug as a bug in the old case!

I too purchased it because the pictures clearly show it is Pick 'N' Pluck foam and it is not. This is one solid block of foam and must be cut to form.

This is a solid block of foam. You will need tools to shape it cleanly. The foam is good quality and fits my case perfectly but a pick 'n pluck is much easier to use. I bought this to EASILY shape it to fit my optics.

The page clearly states that the foam is cubed for plucking to the size you want. I received a solid foam block, not cubed nor the ability to pluck.

I used this to fit a fishing camera and items into a box, it is solid yet spongy and holds the items in place.Easy to cut but best to use a very sharp blade not serrated I used an old bread knife and it did not work well.So be carful when cutting shapes out as it tends to crumble the edges.

Great foam for a do it your selfers, who want to make a nice cutout for a handgun case. Price has gone down $30,a better buy now. Forget the Pick and Pluck junk!

Nice and easy to cut with a sharp knife to score it with and a longer one to finish.Only issue I found was when taking any cut outs out and tidying it up.

Great item just as described and delivered faster than expected. I used it as two pads to increase the height of my speaker stands - it is firm enough for this purpose and very easy to cut.

Cut and shaped nicely to fit in backpack to take Mavic Air, Controller and spare batteries! Drone is set up ready to fly straight from the backpack!
