Work real good behind the refrigerator for a shut off before the filter.

Easy install.
Works well, no leaks, feels solid. Threading is good and fit my braided hose fittings cleanly. Valves operate smoothly. Great pieces for the price as compared to plumber store or big big store.

Nice Shutoff
I installed this shutoff in the water line that feeds our refrigerator's ice maker. The original shutoff installed on the feed pipe was very hard to turn on and off. With the old shutoff on, it leaked a little water over time. This shutoff was very easy to install and works great.

Closes easily and securely
I had previously used a different valve for this area. I was very pleased with replacing it with this one previously I had an incomplete closure, causing drips of water to leak out with this product. There are no leaks, and it is a secure close.

Might need to use tape
The valve works but I have never had compresure fittings leak had to use Teflon tape that was sent with the valve.

Ice Maker shut off
This worked great on a 1/4 inch plastic line for an ice maker to shut the water off behind the fridge. You will need to get a plastic line compression fitting (Lasco 1/4-Inch Hard Plastic Tube Sleeve and Insert Kit, 4-Piece) They have them on amazon. This is a nice shut off ball valve.
