Derale 18214 14" High Output Radiator Fan,Black

Impressive. I have an extremely tight clearance setup in a retro-fitted 5.0 jeep CJ. This fan had the highest rating for being just at 2.50 inches in total depth, just clearing my water pump. I made a custom low dollar shroud to get the most out of the setup. Specifically I have a 3-row aluminum mustang rad, decent shroud, and just one single 14in fan. With a 200-185 fan switch grounding the trigger side of my two 70amp relays this things pulls some air. At idle on an 85 degree day this fan will go from 200-185 in about a minute and twenty seconds on low setting. I’m impressed that a single 14in fan in general can cool a v8, let alone do it on the low setting.

This fan is awesome! Put it on my turbo camaro where the turbo is literally 1/4" away from the radiator... A lot of other fans have failed where this was triumphant (using as a pusher). Works as advertised unlike a lot of other fans out there with their BS CFM ratings. And because I couldn't really find it anywhere online if you were wondering, it pulls 26 amps on high speed, you are welcome lol. Get some 10awg and a 40 amp relay for this bad boy and you will be running nice and cool.

Purchased and installed on my 1969 Plymouth Barracuda. When the fan kicks on, I can feel the vibration while sitting the driver's seat. I removed the fan and held it while turning it on and could feel a decent amount of vibration. I returned it for a replacement one and it had the same vibration. Returning that one as well and looking for a different fan.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve bought three of these. They are all broken. Probably around 4 years old on two of them. One makes a lot of awful grinding noise. All the fan blades get loose and rattle. The mounts they come with are trash. One has lost low speed. The third the blades are so loose they rattle.The only good thing about them is the amount of air they move. I’ve had $15 Amazon fans last longer in the same vehicle. Considering OEM fans will last 20+ years, these are junk. I do not recommend them.Get something else.

Arrived damaged. Leaving on a camping trip in the morning. Don't have time to go through the refund process. Looks like it will still function. Sucks that it arrived cracked. But we'll see how it holds up. Package was undamaged. Which strikes me as odd. How is the package fine but the plastic is cracked? I don't know. I'll check back in and let you know how it goes.
