PS101 Siliconate Water Repellent WB Penetrating Sealer (PS1011G)

This worked really well, and I have to say that Concrete Sealers USA really goes out of its way with good customer service. My husband and I had our 1962 patio professionally power washed, and then we applied the sealer ourselves with rollers and paint brushes. It looks like water, spreads like water, and has no odor. Once it dried, you can't even tell we applied it except that the patio now has a more satin finish compared to its rougher finish beforehand. It rained about two days later, and this stuff is amazing. All the water was repelled off the concrete like water off a duck's back. It was interesting to see where we applied the sealer, and where we stopped. One side was soaked, the other side was dry as a bone. Great product. Concrete Sealers were very good about answering questions beforehand, and even sent me an e-mail with my order inviting me to call customer service for any help, application tips, etc. We are really happy we took the time to buy this and apply it. In fact, I am ordering more for the concrete back porch.

Five stars. First off this company has awesome customer service. As mentioned above they WILL call you BEFORE they ship. In my case I spoke with their agent for an hour about my project and the application. Not expecting that I deflected their call until late and he ended up staying on the phone with me well after 5. Maybe even6.The product. This stuff applies as easily as spraying water. I have some tips though. The rep will tell you to clean the concrete before you apply - if you use a powerwasher he tells you to wait a couple of days. I couldn't keep the birds and neighbors from leaving stains on the concrete that long so I think one day in the sun would be enough time for the first year. Also - DONT apply this on a hellishly hot day in full sun. The rep will tell you to apply as much as the concrete will take but if it's hot then the solution will dry VERY quickly and seal that part of the concrete before you move on. I had to move fast to prevent streaks. Final product is even on the areas that I was moving fast enough to have a wet edge, but where I tried to apply enough to soak it there is uneven coloration. My take? Have a GOOD sprayer and do it at about 9 am. Early enough to have the dew gone but before the sun gets up. Last night it rained - the first few panels look DRY. All water appears to have run off and is still beading. The others are also beading but have a slight grey tint. If I had not been forced to stop and clean off a fresh round of bird poo and tire tracks then I think this product would have been a uniform color for me. I like it. WIll buy more. Covers just about exactly what they say. Ordered two gallons for a 42 x 9 and have a quarter left. (from moving fast)

Worked as noted, to much will leave white streaks. I used a 1 gallon pump sprayer and wet my whole patio down. Before I was getting water pooling in a spot near the home so after using this product it really moves to that area because its so slick and waterproofed, the water can travel further.

Excellent product. The company also called and gave excellent instructions for DIY’er’s like me. The representative was patient and very knowledgeable… great company, great product, great people.

Customer service is great. I asked them what product to use since I had resurfaced the concrete. She told me that type of concrete has additives in it which could prevent the sealer from soaking in, so she recommended the PS101 instead of the one for rougher/broom finished concrete (which I had). It soaked in really well. Early on, I knew 1 gallon wouldn't cut it for the 2 car garage.If it performs as it says, it should last for many, many years ("until concrete wears off"). I'll update this review later (and then put a rating down for "value for money"--it's expensive, so it better last a long time :). Shipping is high--they should consider a different shipper.Interesting points to consider when applying. I used a 1/2 inch nap roller so it would hold lots of product and deal with the somewhat rough surface (not machine troweled). You want to liberally apply it. When you apply it, you see lots of lap marks which is alarming. However, it really does dry crystal clear, so the marks disappear as well, so no need to try and "feather" or otherwise deal with them. It's so clear you can't tell that it was done--unless you put water on it and it just beads up instead of soaking in.The concrete soaked it up so well, I ran out and had to buy another gallon. When the last 1/3 of the garage was done, I had some leftover, so I tried to apply it over the part I did earlier. Some did soak in in some spots (which means I probably didn't put enough down the first time), but some just sat on top and I had to wipe it off so it wouldn't leave a residue.

Had a concrete balcony leaking below as the rain/snow water seeped through. Two coats later, zero leaks!

This stuff worked well. I wish I had known about it years ago. Have cement floor that would create moisture in the summer humidity which then would get musty after a while. I cleaned the floor then applied this with a small mop. Went on like water. No scent at all. You do need to watch for any overlap or puddling as it will leave white areas when dry. This did not matter to me as I covered the floor with wall to wall rugs. It's been two months of summer and humidity and no moisture at all. So glad I found this product.Thanks
