Mobility with broken ankle
I recently broke my ankle was told to bear no weight for at least 4 weeks. I quickly found this knee scooter and I am so thankful I did! It has allowed me to move about easily and with more stability than crutches. I did add a memory foam pillow to the knee pad for added comfort. I’ve only used this to navigate around my home and getting to my car. It has worked perfectly for me. I have been able to use it fromHard flooring onto a rug with no issues. After a couple days of use I realized the silver pieces on the brake handles could be pushed down to hold the brakes in place. The basket is fine but does come loose but I just make sure to push it down when I notice and it’s fine. I wouldn’t carry anything super heavy in it but it’s great to carry small things with me. The scooter is sturdy and holds my weight (250+). It works ok on my sidewalk but does get stopped by smallRocks. I am very pleased with the scooter and feel it was a fair value for the price!

Well built, sturdy, and GREAT (indented) knee rest pad.
This knee scooter has been a god-send after breaking my ankle. By the second full day of using crutches I knew there had to be a less painful and more sturdy and stable way to get around so I ordered this scooter. It arrived 2 days later. It was a breeze to put together (you can YouTube an assembly video for your specific model or used the enclosed directions). I have been using this as my primary means of getting around for the last 8 days and it has made my life a whole lot easier and much less painful. Both the handlebar and the knee pad itself can be adjusted for height. The handlebars are comfortable and the brakes are easily accessible and easy to lock in place. The frame is very sturdy and there is a clamp at the base of the handlebars where you can quickly release the vertical bar and push it back towards the knee pad to make it smaller and easier to transport in or put in the trunk of the car. And I LOVE the knee pad as it has an indent to accommodate the leg (or booted leg) making it comfortable and secure. It has an additional indent going from bone side of the knee pad to the other side you can easily stand in front of a table, mirror, sink, etc. and equally distribute your weight between both legs for more normal alignment of the hips while doing tasks requiring standing. This unit is offered with either a bag or a wire mesh basket that can be attached to the front. I chose the wire basket for ease of access and cleaning and it is an absolutely Indispensable addition, allowing me to easily bring along, toiletries, clothes, etc. as I move from one task to the next.Only thing I find you have to careful about is when coming up to any raised thresholds, small pebbles, cracks, etc, remember to lightly lift the front wheels so they don’t catch.100% recommend this unit! Still need crutches (for stairs or very tight spots) but this unit works great both inside and outside (parking lots, sidewalks, smooth paved trails and roads) and has been a game-changer for me!

Has given me great mobility and is super easy to set up.
1. Assembly - looking at it in the box is a little daunting. However, I had Achilles surgery Thursday and assembled this myself 5 days later. They have done a remarkable job of eliminating all of the difficulty and there are NO tools required. For the three bolts, they have cut a hexagon in the outer pole that acts as a wrench and the other side is a large circular handle.2. Fit - Every body is different so this requires a few iterations. I tried to measure the height of the seat from my other leg, but it required 3 attempts to find the right height - each change takes around 15 seconds. Same with the height of the handlebars. THIS IS SUPER EASY TO DO and is not frustrating at all.3. Ride/Movement - this is so much better than crutches - I am literally zipping around the house. However, this rides easiest on wooden floors. Even a thin area rug requires care to move onto it from the wooden floor as sometimes the wheel catches very slightly. We don't have wall-to-wall, so I don't know how it works on anything thicker than 1/4".4. Basket - I really love this. Before this arrived I had to ask my wife to bring everything to me - it is really very hard to walk with crutches and some item in one had. This morning - 1st trip, put on coffee, brought over water and laptop. 2nd trip, placed cereal, milk, coffee mug in basket. 3rd trip brought back cereal bowl and brought over pot of coffee. Then cleaned it all up. Gives me a great sense of freedom. Two Week Review - still love it, but It is easy to get overconfident and 1) zip quite quickly around the house and if you run into something - 1/4 or 1/2" rug, the wheels can twist. At slow speeds, not a big deal. At higher speeds, this is a little harder to control - Don't Speed. 2) get yourself out of balance, i.e., reach over the side that is on the cart and put too much weight on one side - that can result in tipping. Again, Don't get overconfident, if you are using this, you are still injured.

A MUST for foot surgery
I had both feet operated on this summer and I would not have healed nearly as quickly had I not had this scooter. It is well-made, sturdy, smooth, and easy to put together and adjust. Well worth the price. Turns well in a small space, steers easily and has a handy basket. My only complaint is that, like others, I found the footrest to be too hard and had to put a towel on it. Don't mess around with crutches.

Great Knee Scooter
Easy to put together and solid/sturdy functioning, breaks and turn radius are great too! Locking feature is a bonus and appreciate it. Definitely worth the money when have a non weight bearing foot for at least 3 months.
