I found this notebook at a closing Borders bookstore and picked it up, not sure what its true use would be. I started carrying it with me in my back pocket, facilitated by the softcover, and noticed that I would pull it out to take notes on items I found it stores, write down shopping lists, record measurements, do a little bit of journaling, outline story ideas and keep track of my school assignments. The pages are a wee bit bleedy, but that's fixed by using the right pen. After over a year, my first one was 5 pages from full. The notebook itself, however, was in pretty excellent shape. A little tape was required to reinforce the bind from the outside, but that was more of a proactive fix. I highly recommend this product, that's why I just bought two more!

I have been using these notebooks for some time, and recently switched from hardcover to softcover. I carry mine in my rear trouser pocket, and the flexible cover molds over time to perfectly and comfortably fit the contour of my behind. Although, I would recommend stowing it in a safer place if you intend on carrying it every day for more than a year. My last one was really on its last legs by the time I filled it up. At any rate, Moleskine notebooks have a lot of great history, and they are quite a useful tool to either the artistic, linear, or linearly artistic mind. I always like to have a few brand new ones in line to succeed the one that has been living in my pants, just to set my mind at ease. I would truly be lost without my Moleskine.

Oh, ok, first thing I want to say I am not really that "artistic" person, just try to make something impressive to you!!! :DThis note book is amazing! At first I bought it because I has been in love with its style for a long time (you know, with the curved angles and black leather!) but I didnt know what the name of the notebook is. Then when I found them, bought them, they are so gorgeous!!! Soft leather, smooth papers and elegant style! But after awhile I didnt know how I should use them. I didnt want to even write on them, so I just kept this small one on my pocket and now, I have to bring it everyday I go! The small size is definitely perfect in your pocket but still has the enough size to draw everything! I use it to draw about my days, like journal and when I m totally in love with it, I draw everything, my jewelery ideas, my pictures... everything you know!I am not that artist can give you some advices but honestly, if you like to draw, or write, you should buy these Moleskine! I dont think you cant stop making notes when you have them.Try them, and love them!Hope you guys will have fun with them! :)

This size is the perfect one to carry around in my purse. I use it as a type of journal/diary where I record my thoughts and what is happening that I want to remember. I have bought several of these so that as I fill up one, I always have another one available. The pages holdup well, as I have already filled one notebook completely over the course of a year, and it is still in excellent shape. This is true even after having been jostled around in my purse for a year so they are very durable notebooks.

I use the small pocket ones daily for making notes and lists. The leather covering is durable, and due to the size would last me about 6 months, when I have ran out of paper the leather covering is still in good condition. The cream edges of the paper tend to get dirty due to frequent use but that is expected. The small pocket in the back comes in handy for placing business cards, money (notes not coins), and small pieces of paper. One small (sour) point, depending on the pen that you use, the ink tends to "bleed" through the back of the paper, but I get around that by only using ball point pens.

So I know this is the Moleskine site on Amazon but I notice a big difference in the 2024 moleskine (bottom) and the 2023 moleskine (top). You can see that the newest books stamp on the back is so faint you can hardly see it. The paper quality seems different too, more paper like than the previous soft paper. I noticed that this book smudges a lot more than the previous too!!!! I’m just confused why the quality would be reduced within a short amount of time. Moleskine is a great brand but now I’m just suspicious…. Might go to my local bookstore to purchase another one since this one smudged badly on my first page. Super sad

This was my first experience with Moleskine's soft cover products back when I bought it. I found it to be a joy to use. The cover's flexibility was a welcome change from the rigid hard covers. Sometimes, with hard covers, it feels like you have to fight with the cover a little bit. This removes that problem.And it held together nicely for the year (or better) of carrying it. I had previously never opted for the soft covers because I figured it would be too flimsy and not hold up. But it held up just fine, and it convinced me to opt for soft covers every time I've bought anything by Moleskine since.
