Wide base for better stability.
Brilliant for studying at my work desk. The wide base stops it from keeling over. Different types of lighting in different modes gives more options while doing various jobs.

If you are the type of person who struggles with flat pack instruction, then this may not be for you. Basically you are told to open carton, unpack and assemble base, fit machine and adjust. Considering the instructions are in the packaging, if you need instructions telling you to open carton, you will really struggle!!!Unit lead is just over a metre in length, and comes out of the unit 75cm from floor, so mobility is very restricted.Having said that, light and magnification are good, just make sure the legs are mounted the right way up before you fasten everything together! A few basic diagrams would be useful!

This product is shocking. It is so flimsy that when you move it, it falls over. It fell onto one of my clients. Do not buy

OK product but!
My Wife loved this once I was able to build it!The instructions are too small and I had to use 2 pairs of glasses just to read them and even then it took more goes to build it.Once built I thought it was OK but for this cost the instructions should have been better quality in a larger font?And photos of the different stages would have been much better that the abyismall line drawings supplied.
