Q: Is the noise cancelling of the mic good enough to make calls while mowing?

Yes, the noise cancellation is great. Downside you won’t be able to hear yourself talking because there’s no pass through audio

Q: How many hours will these run on a set of batteries?

It hasn’t run out yet! I drive a HMMWV M977, I can use the phone! listen to music.... I thought about buying rechargeable batteries but it seems cheaper not to. The on/off switch is the knob. They could be more clear in their instructions. I momentarily push turns it on or off once it’s been paired. I’m buying two more.

Q: Will the microphones work between passengers in a side by side utv?

Only by doing it through cell phones.

Q: Can this be plugged into a radio?

No you can’t plug it into a radio, but it pairs with a Bluetooth radio. I listen to iHeart radio all the time, using my phone. But like I said you can’t plug it into a radio. I must say, I’m Very happy with them, I use them in very loud and noisy environment and the sound is very good.
