DELICIOUS!
The brine on this product was delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. I was surprised that the tofu was cut into small pieces. I expected a tofu cake. However, I was pleasantly surprised because it was quite delicious that way. I only wish I could order this more often. The brine could be used as a soup base easily. This is a very tasty product and I highly recommend it

Mostly dented cans and not suitable for long-term storage
The bean curd itself is fine. It's just firm tofu in water. So the product as a food is fine and cooks well in stir fry, soups and sautes. But out of 24 cans, 20 were dented when unboxed. Since they were shipped in a factory box and the cans in the middle were just as dented as the cans on the outside, it wasn't a shipping issue. I'll be using these up but won't be buying more. I had hoped this company's product would be suitable for my disaster preparedness pantry, but alas, dented cans are just not suitable for long term storage in my view. It was very disappointing.

Like it better than the boxed tofu
easy to use, pre pressed, I like it better than buying the boxes of the tofu.

Almost perfect canned Tofu...but 3.5 stars
If you don't like anything canned, don't look here, if you don't mind canned...Hi.My subscribe and save Tofu. This item could have been perfect but alas there is a major drawback and that is salt. This is much more accurate if it was sold as beancurd in brine as it is tofu, salt and water. Typically if you go and buy other water packed tofu, you may find it has from 0-10 mg of sodium. This one has 292 mg per serving, that's a huge difference. The "brine" affects it enough that the tofu is essentially salted and you will need to adjust your recipes to take this into account or you'll end up with oen salty dish. As it is, I eat these "plain" and don't need further salt or soy sauce.Perhaps because of the canning process that it needs to have salt in order to be preserved or perhaps not, so keep that in mind. I'm not sure on the science of canning. I have provided nutrition data taken from the Roland foods website. The cans seem be updated now and the only difference between the nutrition data being 59 calories on the can vs 60 on the website.I love my "almost" plain tofu. 3.5 stars if I could have...5 stars of course if there wasn't so much sodium.
