Sturdy mattress cover
The mattress exceeded my expectations.it arrived thick and sturdy, especially compared to my previous one, which was only usable once during my last move. I would recommend this mattress for its reusable quality.

If you have to get one
Where we live if you throw out a mattress or box spring you have to have it in a bag & this works perfectly.

Strong, large but beware many tiny air vent holes
The media could not be loaded. I bought this to cover my bed which I spent $300.00 on and got ripped off by a shady mattress seller; it reeks of gasoline and chemicals.... I bought a vinyl zip cover and that won't block the smell. First time in my life I had enough money and room to buy a double bed. Tired of being stuck buying from these dealers in Worcester, MA. If you don't hire a big evil looking guy to pose as your husband these sellers in Worcester will rip us independent ladies off.I got this today from Amazon. It is strong, large, good for what I need.Only problem; it's covered with about 100+ tiny holes. I did not see where the seller states this on Amazon? Did I miss it?This is a big problem if someone buys this to use to protect against rain, flood, water damage.I guess I can place it on the floor and tape all the holes shut but really wanted a plastic cover with NO 'air vents'.Still a better price on Amazon and fast delivery.Should have bought the mattress on Amazon.

good product
This bag was just what I was looking for. I had read reviews about other mattress bags being too thin to take a big move, but overall feedback on this was positive. I agree with some of the other reviewers. The bag was easy to get around the mattress (with a helper), simple to seal up with plenty of packing tape, and held up very well. By the time my very heavy king mattress arrived to the second floor of our house, the bag did have a few small tears, but I think that was just because my movers really had to stuff the mattress through a pretty narrow stairway. Had the stairway been a little bit bigger I believe the mattress bag would have arrived intact. I would buy this again. As a side note, we ran short of mattress bags at the last minute (I bought a king size bag for my split king boxspring) so my husband ran out to Lowes to get an extra. The Duck brand that Lowes sells is of similar quality to this one.

Reasonable quality, but plastic not as thick as I was hoping for
We purchased this mattress cover for our move from apartment to apartment. The packaging was compact and shipping was very fast. There was more than enough room for my queen tempur-pedic mattress. . . I imagine that there will be enough for a king sized bed. I think that there was a little too much excess plastic left over that the mattress slide around even after we taped it down. For a king bed, probably not too much of an issue. The plastic, while sturdy, was not as thick as I was expecting. I had to lift up the mattress for a moment by grabbing the plastic and it tore a bit. It's not a show stopper, but you will not be able to just 'drag' and 'pull' the cover and expect the mattress to completely protect.Pros:-plenty of space for queen and king beds-easy to slide the cover over bedCons:-if you have a smaller queen, there will be a lot of excess plastic-wish plastic was thickerOverall, if your bed isn't going to take a lot of abuse (pushing, pulling, tugging, tumbling) on the way to the final destination, then this will work just fine. But if you expect a bit of man handling and would like to protect the mattress from getting dirty, then I would consider purchasing a thicking covering.

Worked for discarding a mattress
I bought this since I had a mattress I needed to throw away. Plastic was thick, and didn't seem easily tearable. It was easy enough to get on the mattress. There is no seal on the bag. You have to tape it closed. Not a big deal for me since I was throwing away my mattress, but feel like people using the bag to move a mattress should know.

Used these to wrap a queen mattress and box spring ...
Used these to wrap a queen mattress and box spring (each in their own bag) on a 5 hour trip in the WET Northwest. It took two of us to put them on the mattress and the box spring, it could be done by one person but I think it would be easier to tear them with just one person. They do not have a sealed end but I knew that when I bought them so we used gorilla tape/duct tape and sealed the end really well. We also wrapped the tape around the mattress so that the plastic would flap less in the wind. The mattress and box springs were strapped down laying at an angle in the bed of the truck. We experienced no tears, no damage to the bag or anything. Based on some of the other reviews I was concerned that they would not hold up but it worked perfectly... we even reused them to wrap the twin mattress and box spring that we brought back with us.

Good Quality Product For The Price
Reasonably priced item and perfect for my needs. Bought 2 (1 for the mattress and 1 for the box spring) and they fit well and there was also enough extra as far as the length so I could fold the excess down and tape the bags closed. The thickness was just fine for a standard local move (carried from the apartment to the truck to the new apartment) and they didn't rip of tear as I slid them on the floor of the apartment or in the truck. I wouldn't recommend sliding it across the concrete though or else it would most likely tear. If you can tape / seal the bags securely and tightly enough you could probably get away with using them to store a mattress to keep it clean.
