One of the most flavorful soy sauces on Amazon
I am a big fan of good soy sauce, and this is one of the best. I have used soy sauce that was aged (up to) four years before. This is aged (up to) two years, but has a stronger and, for my taste, better flavor than the ones aged four years. A teaspoonful brings more to the plate than several tablespoons of the cheap ones you can find in the supermarket. Not sure why - could it be because of the black soy used in its production?This said, for those of us in the US at least, please be aware that you may end up needing to pay for the customs. I have bought stuff shipped from Japan before, including on Amazon, but this was the first time I was presented with a FedEx bill for the customs, in the amount of $13. For most of us the resulting total price tag is pretty high.

Ultra High-End Soy Sauce
This is the brand used by Michelin-starred Chef David Schlosser at Shibumi in Downtown Los Angeles. I first tried it with his signature kappo omakase and wound up drinking it from the dish. Best I’ve ever tasted.
