These are now my favorite! They may be a bit pricier than other brands, but the taste is well worth it. Even in a blind taste test, you'd be able to tell these are real Turkish delights from Turkey; the texture is denser and chewier than delights made in the US. The denser texture made it more enjoyable to eat, bc it didn't feel like they were sticking to my teeth.The confectioners coated the delights in powdered sugar to keep them from sticking together ... A Lot of powdered sugar (not a bad thing - just a cautionary FYI for people like me who eat their delights in bed😳🤭☺). Just a couple light taps against the inside of the box and the excess powdered sugar falls off.My pistachio and hazelnut mix had enough sweetness to taste like candy but they weren't overly sweet. There's a mild vanilla flavor in both the hazelnut and pistachio delights, and I could taste all the simple ingredients in the pistachio delights. The hazelnut delights, however, had additional flavor from an ingredient(s) not listed on the box - a peppery flavor with a very mild floral finishing note (as if an edible flower, like nasturtium, had been boiled in the simple syrup and then removed before cornstarch and nuts were added). For my fellow rose-flavor haters (seriously, rose-flavored anything tastes like soap to me), the mild floral taste in these hazelnut delights isn't bad at all.I'm sure your wondering about the amount of nuts used. Aside from maybe a couple pieces, there's a good balance of pistachios/hazelnuts with each bite, so you can definitely taste the nuts.As for shipping, even with a slight delay in transit, these Turkish delights arrived quickly. They were well packaged, with a nice note from the company and a gift of a small package of Turkish coffee.

It taste is awful. I trust the brand of gulluoglu and bought 3 packages. When I tried first one, I hate from taste. It is too sweat, all of the sugar powder melted and stick on surface. The nut filler taste also bitter. If I never eat turkish delight, maybe I can thought turkish delight is a terrible taste. You are just ruin the brand and reputation of turkish delight. I can not return them also because of policy. I lost my money, Iost my trust to brand. This is not a Turkish delight. A real one is a pleasure in mouth, this is just regret!!

My introduction to this candy came when one of my grad students brought me a box, hand-carried from his trip home to Turkey. It really IS delightful! This product is as close to "the real thing" as any I've found, and is doing a great job of satisfying a craving. It is a unique combination of crunchy nuts and a sweet gel with delicate notes of some seasoning I don't recognize. The box and portions are small: The 8.5 oz boz is about the size of a video casette tape, and each piece is roughly the size of a sugar cube. I'm trying to hoard these so they last... but I may just have to reorder. :D

The media could not be loaded. These little bites pack a lot of sweetness. But I love the nuts that they have in them. They are covered in powdered sugar. I've never had Turkish delights before so I can't compare these to anything or know if they are supposed to taste like this lol.I expected them to be a little more chewy and moist. A bit too sweet for me.

Really tasty - my family orders this Turkish Delight every year for Christmas and it ships super quickly, arriving fresh and delicious.

My husband love nuts and boy does this gave nuts in them!

This was a huge hit with my nieces and nephews. I bought it for them while they were reading The Lion and the Witch and the Wardrobe, in which Turkish delight plays such an important part. Would definitely buy again.

The product was guaranteed freshness,but it was not fresh and that's why it tasted so bad,this is not Turkish delight 👎
