A small, very fast, feature packed dock
Writing this review in based on the features and testing. Adding in the support and pre-sales configuration as well. The TL;DR is at the end, so if you just want to know the results, head there.1) Plug N Play (PNP): I have a Dell Windows 11, Intel 11th Gen processor laptop that works with this dock and this was confirmed by the pre-sales support team after I placed the order but before they would ship the device. This attention to detail is nice and I am sure it cuts down on issues for support. The PNP worked exactly as advertised as no drivers were required to install to access any functions. All of the dock items worked perfectly out of the box.2) Dual Monitor Extension Support: I tested this dock in single monitor mode (not using the dock for video, but everything else and laptop closed with a single monitor attached to the dock; I tested in dual monitor mode (laptop display and single external monitor with 1080p/4K and dual external monitors in 1080p); and I tested in triple monitor mode (laptop display and dual 1080p). All of them worked as expected but the description said 4K was only available with 2 HDMIs, but I connected with a single HDMI and got 4K. I didn't have 2 x 4K monitors to try that, sorry. Refresh rate was 60Hz, so business friendly. NOTE: I did not try the VGA as I don't have anything that old laying about. Sorry!3) 7 x USB Ports. While I tested in various configurations, I never did get 7 items at the same time a try, so I can't guaranty that they all work when maxed out, but I suspect they will be fine. I tested the 2 x USB 2.0 ports with my KB and Mouse and they were perfect as expected. I also tested file transfers on the USB 3 and they were fast, but the USB C port was actually faster on the dock, than the USB A port on the laptop. I suspect that is because the USB C is higher than USB 3.0. It doesn't say that anywhere I could find, but my USB drive was almost as fast as my Desktop gaming PC.4) 65W Power supply included: The only issue I had was when I turned on the power to the laptop when connected to the dock. My laptop needs 65w for the BIOS to post and allow the laptop to boot to Windows. The included 65W adapter powers the laptop and the dock and consumes around 10-15W so it would not post. When I contacted support, they were great to work with and had me try a few things to get it working. When we tried everything we could they had me return and get a new dock. The final configuration was a 100W Dell USB power supply I had plugged into the dock so at least 65W got to the laptop. Also, the USB C port on the original dock must have had some issues, but the second dock I got worked perfectly in the final configuration. So if you run into any issues with slow charging, replace with a higher rated power supply and you should be fine!5) 1Gbps Ethernet port: I tested this wired port and it works great! I got about 940Mbps when downloading from the internet, so that's about as fast as you can get in 1Gbps. I can't speak to how stable the connection is as I haven't had this long enough to rate that, but I'll update the review later to update.6) Dock Audio and Flash cards: I tested all of these features as well. The audio like the video is sufficient for business use and the Flash card testing was fast. Also, I don't have any very high speed flash cards to test, but there wasn't any performance difference off the dock than the laptop, hence being fast. The TL:DR for this dock is if you meet the requirements and you want a true one cable solution for your compatible laptop, this dock fits the bill! 5 Stars for the product, support and pre-sales support. For transparency, I have many devices from this manufacture, all of which I paid for myself, and was given the unit by the manufacture to test with no strings attached. This is my honest review.

Lots of Ports With Just One USB-C, Great For Windows Laptops
I bought this USB-C dock model DS-C05 to connect and power a variety of external devices on my 2021 HP Spectre, Intel Gen 11, high-end Windows laptop. It does the job as well as any USB-C dock, and has more ports than most.I also own the other model, DS-C03, which is better for people with even higher bandwidth demands, higher resolution monitors, or a Mac. But you have to plug in two USB-C cables to your laptop to get the full benefits of that other model (10 Gbps). For Windows users, I'd suggest you buy this model, DS-C05, which is designed to work fully with just one USB-C cable connecting to your laptop. It works better in a one-cable hookup. Both HDMI ports, and all the ports work with just one USB-C cable, but you will have the limited throughput of a single USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 connection (5 Gbps).Using just one USB-C plug (included in the box), I currently connect:-Two HDMI 1080p monitors-Gigabit LAN-Keyboard-USB wireless headset-Mouse-USB thumb drive-MicroSD memory card-Power supply-Logitech C920 CameraAll of the above are working well, and are stable. No drivers were needed, just plug and play the single wire. The laptop comes in and out of sleep, and all the devices re-appear, no problems. I am very happy with the USB-C performance of this dock.I've used smaller portable docks, but they don't offer the range of ports, and also tend to get very hot. This one just gets a little warm. This dock DOES come with it's own power supply, so you can use your existing one for travel. The AC adapter brick is compact, listed at 65 Watts, & it will power the dock, and also pass through power to your laptop via the included cables.Last warning: This dock, or any dock, is ONLY as good as your laptop's port. If you have a USB-C port, it is NOT guaranteed that it is able to accept charging power, or give out video signals. Those are higher-end features that some laptop makers put in their ports, but others don't. USB-C ports can also be limited to 5Gbps for 3.1 Gen 1, 10Gbps for 3.1 Gen 2, or 40Gbps for Thunderbolt. This dock delivers USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 speeds of 5Gbps, which must be shared among all the ports on the dock. You can't run every port on this thing, 2 HDMI screens, gig LAN, and expect them all to run full-speed. But for most people's daily use, 5Gbps is plenty. If money grew on trees, I would have preferred to own a Thunderbolt-compatible dock, because that takes advantage of the full bandwidth of the 40Gbps ports on my laptop - however, those docks cost in the $300+ range right now (2022). This dock has a very good price-to-features ratio.

4URPC stands by their products
Review Date 10.8.2022I really liked the 4URPC docking station. It worked good for my needs and looked cool. But literally over night it stopped working. I shut down my system Thursday night and Friday morning powered it back on for work and realized the docking station was dead.I really liked this docking station. But its not good that it only last for a few months before it stops working. I hope support@4URPC can either fix or replace. We shall see. I'll update once i hear backReview Date 10.20.2022I am pleased to say 4URPC stepped up and sent me a replacement docking station with overnight shipping hassle free! Their customer support rep Doris has been fantastic and extremely helpful.Since my item was purchased through the Amazon Warehouse store and not 4URPC, it was Amazon who should have handled my incident. But instead did not. The first Amazon rep I chatted with said they would send me a replacement right away. When I didn't receive the replacement confirmation in the account, I reached back out to Amazon, who apologized and said the first agent was wrong, and that they weren't able to assist me. They instructed me to email "[email protected]" for further assistance.Funny story... its been over 2 weeks and I still have not heard back from [email protected]. Even though 4URPC resolved my issue, I'm more curious how long it will take for Amazon to acknowledge my email??But in the end, I'm am happy that 4URPC stood by their product and assisted me without hesitation in getting a replacement. Again, the docking station is awesome. make sure to order from 4URPC store and not Amazon Warehouse.
